This was blissfully boisterous!! Absolutely fabulous energy and a fun conductor to watch, having a great time in the podium. Great respect from the orchestra! Wonderful!
Bravo! Bravíssimo!
A hugely exciting performance . And thank you Tord Martinsson for the video. It's the only one I've seen that gives the timpanist their due in the final movement
I LOVE Nathalie Stutzmann, and it looks like the Swedish Chamber Orchestra do too; this is fresh, brave and unconventional music making, dare I say 'life-affirming'? Isn't there a really funny chord at the end of the second movement? (10:15 on the counter) A flattened 7th? Is that a Mozart joke?
+Arthur Dent I heard the same! Somehow I doubt even Mozart would do something quite that odd. Maybe a different first ending that someone (sounded like a horn) accidentally played?
Bravo, just bravo! A truly original reading, Nuanced, clever, with all the sinewy strength one can hope for from Haffner! Any way we can get you to come to Philadelphia? In addition to your Swedish Chamber Orchestra, we too have very nice band here.
Interesting but not really my thing -- sounds like Maestra Stutzmann had a dinner reservation and was really hunghry and just wanted to get there *fast*
I love to see this female conductor. Her movement is awesome
This was amazing!! So great to watch how the musicians and the conductor would sometimes smile and make eye-contact with one another while playing.

I agree with you Sam it was definitely boisterous
Great version. I love the animation of the orchestral players as well as the conductor. Fun to watch as well as to listen to.
I wish I could conduct like that. Beautiful, precise and always with a singer's breath and phrasing.
Pétillante interprétation , ou la joie et la grâce se mêle a la rigueur et a l'élégance de madame Stutzmann , merci

Wow, never thought Swedish can play Mozart with so much heart! Must be the result of global warming. Many thanks for publishing!

And they got the timpani in the presto exactly right on!
こんな女性指揮者がいたなんて驚きだ

Maestro, maestro Stutzmann! Non maestra, non si tratta della Boldrini!
