For rosemary spray for hair growth, I mixed 1:1 rosemary oil with Polysorbate-20, mixed well, & it was nice & clear. Then once I added distilled water & mixed again, it looks cloudy. I don't care about appearance - just that it's properly mixed. Does cloudiness matter in this case beyond aesthetics?
I've never understood why any of the liquid products we use in our skin care formulations are measured by weight instead of volume. Liquids have different weights based on viscosity.
Hi i have a recipe for a body shimmer moisturiser which calls for olivem 300 now im in the 🇬🇧 and cant get hold of that would polysorbate 20 be a good alternative as its a leave on product. I can get this olivem 300 but i have to order minimum on this website of 100 pounds worth of product which im not going to do obviously. So ive been looking around for a good alternative. Your video came up on my search.
It depends on what you want to use it for. If it is to solubilize an essential oil of fragrance, then you can use polysorbate 20 if you can't find Olivem 300.

I’m making a hair mist with fenugreek and Carrier as well as essential oil in it. I’m trying to make sure I combine and preserve it properly.
Hello! I loved your channel! I want to know if you have a video, when you show how I can dissolve menthol and camphor.

@@greenbeautychemist. Thanks for the reply hinnie.
Olivem 300 as solubilizer essential oil, good for hairtonik?
Yes, definitely
If you add the P 20 last
Meaning after mixing the oil and the water will it ever mix well together (thoroughly)??
Not recommended
Will this reduce the density of my gel to liquid?
Por qué se mezca primero el tensoactivo con la fase oleosa ?
Because that is how it works.
Please can i mix olivem 300 with just oil, because i did that and it separated!
Olivem 300 is a fragrance solubilizer and not carrier oil solubilizer. It will separate.
Can we use polysorbate 20 or 80 to make room freshner
poly 20 and essential oil with water
Hi in the other video about p20 you said less than 1% of p20 in formilations? This is higher?
What do you recommend in place for olivem300 it’s not available in my region from any suppliers
Natragem or polysorbate 20. If you can't find olivem 300, go for polysorbate 20 both for hair and skin. Use it in 1 to 1 ratio.
