    Of course the cut and size of the sail are important, too. Then there is the effectiveness of the crew in handling. Very small time differences due to aerodynamic advantages can be nullified very quickly by mishandling.

    Spinakers are eaqual size? And very important is the boat it is planing hull or not? SA/displacment in this test? and so on.... But offcourse there is conditions then Asymmetrical is faster

    I think your math might be off if one boat is sailing 6º higher than then the other and sign is .10 of 6º the boat sailing higher would have to be sailing more than 10% faster correct?

      Hi Robert - are you referring to the slide at 2 min 15s approximately? I think the numbers could change a little with missing decimals added - not sure what you mean by sign is .10?
