Really nice videos! Please keep em' coming! :) Just looked through all of them and even though I'm not a total beginner, I learned stuff that I had missed!
Great question! It’s yes and no. If all of your tilt presets are the same and are stored as universal, any new fixtures brought into a recipe will adapt. However, pan presets most commonly have fixture beams spread in different variances. Those you will need to update. A quick way I’ve done that is with magic presets. Check out my video on that, but use position attributes instead of color attributes.
@@mwlighting Thank you for reply, sure, I will try, for example I recorded different cue for each fixture on different executor, but now I want it on one bottom or executor, I want to call all of them in the same time
Thank you for clarifying, I think I know what you’re asking now. So, you can’t use one exec to call a group of other execs, BUT you can write a command in an exec that can control other execs. That command might look like “Go+ page 1.(starting exec) thru (ending exec)” So if exec button 1.101 is my “All On” and execs 1.301 thru 1.305 are my individual execs, I would write this in the command line in exec 1.101: “Go+ Page 1.301 thru 305”

And remember, always save your show file!
You know it!
Great vid! Maybe I'm too early but even if I use recipes, I still have to update my positions right? The positions will not adapt on their own?

Thank you for commenting! I’m not sure I completely understand your question, can you give me an example?
