I love this. It can't be all about the competition. It's about the love of the sport and its simplicity. Once it becomes a chore and the magic is gone, we need to stop until it comes back. And it always comes back.

Beautifully crafted video. I found this truly special to have a top athlete expose the raw emotions after 11 years of racing. Kudo's to Salomon for allowing the integrity of the video to shine through for the human story. Frosty just seems such a special soul. Wishing her love, light and laughter.
I've always really liked Frosty and this film was really inspirational for me. I've been dealing with some fairly serious injuries lately that have kept me from running and have been going through the same issues, b/c I feel that running had come to define who I am. I'm in no way on the same level as she is, but running has helped me get through so much turmoil over the last few years and now I don't know what to do without it. Hearing her story of going through the same issues was very comforting and I'd like to thank her for sharing.

It's ok to lose or let go the desire to race, it's just unsettling when you've defined yourself by it. I struggled, and I was never any where near at the level you are Anna. But in time, you'll find it gets replaced by the desire to parts of an event, a movement, a community. And that'll be so much more enriching and fun :-)

Anna this is one of the most touching histories I've seen lately. Mostly because it's about my. I'm not even a bit comparable to you. Never won, never wanted to win a race. But I think I can understand a bit what you've went trough. Trail running is about love. To mountains, to nature and to ourselves. All the best for you Frosty!

Great video! Anna is awesome! Does anyone know which part (s) of Papua new guinea was the video filmed? (I might has have missed that part if it was mentioned..sorry)
Majority of it was filmed in the Eastern Highlands. We filmed on and around Mt Wilhelm and at the Goroka Festival. We also traveled to the town of Mendi in the Southern Highlands where Anna grew up and then we filmed some shots on the Kokoda track on the foothills of the Owen Stanley Range.
