6 Types of Errors in Excel and how to resolve them (हिंदी में)

    In this video, we will talk about how to understand and resolve the 6 most common excel errors.

    Lets have a look at the errors one by one:
    Error 1: ########
    The hash error comes in Excel because of 2 reasons.
    Reason 1 - When the width of the column is not short and the content in the cells of that column is broader.
    Solution - Increase the width of the column.
    Reason 2 - Date is written in negative.
    Solution - Check and make sure that if a date is mentioned in the cell should not be in negative. Just remove the minus “-“ symbol.
    Error 2: #NAME?
    There are two reasons for having this error:
    Reason 1- The name of the function is incorrect.
    Solution - Just check and correct the name of the function.
    Reason 2- Cell/Range name is invalid.
    Solution - Check whether the name which is assigned to the cell or the range is correct or not. Also, make sure that it should exist.
    Error 3: #REF!
    Reason - This error comes when the cell we are referring to is either deleted, moved or has an error in it.
    Solution - Check and correct the reference.
    Error 4: #Value!
    Reason - As Excel cannot understand a text, so when we are trying to perform a calculation which has some text then it leads to #Value! Error.
    Solution - Make sure one should not include Text.
    Error 5: #DIV/0
    Reason - When we are trying to divide a cell by a blank cell or by Zero, then it leads to #DIV/0 error.
    Solution - Check the denominator to of the cell, it should not be blank or zero.
    Error 6: #N/A
    Reason - Generally in lookup functionality functions, when the lookup value doesn’t exist in the lookup range then it leads to #N/A error.
    Solution - Make sure the Lookup value exist in the lookup range.
