Strat Kit Build - 02 - Turning cheap ceramic magnet pickups into AlNiCo 2 blades

Have you ever wondered if you could upgrade those cheap ceramic magnet pickups? As a part of the Ammon Stratocaster Kit build, here's the video where I convert them into AlNiCo 2 blade pups by removing the ceramic magnet, extracting the slugs and creating a channel to insert the alnico magnet, which has to be cut and re-shaped to fit the bobbin slot.
