- Today we will be finishing the install of my DIY carbureted turbo build on my 1973 dodge charger 361 big block mopar. this engine is very similar to the famed motorhome 440 but with less bore and stroke. The upside of this engine is that it has more compression and a hotter cam than any motorhome 440 so even though the cubic inches are not there, the little 361 should still be able to hold its own.

It keeps getting better.
Thank you sir! I appreciate the compliments!
She sounds good!!!
Thanks man, should run pretty good too 😂
Sounds really good, I see ya working hard over there!
The work doesnt stop over here 💪
Nice!! If you decide to do a re-ring, get some Hastings chrome rings and deglaze the cylinder walls with a medium grit stone and clean thoroughly. It will take a while for the rings to seat, but the chrome rings will be impervious to boost and resistant to contaminates (dirt/dust/debris) that boosted engines have to deal with.
I might just do that! I've pushed this motor about as far as I can go without breaking a piston. I'd like to get some forged pistons and rering this engine
Hey there NW'er Good to see another video from you. Cool stuff Brother!! She really fired right off, and that is a great sign. Good Luck tomorrow. Cheers from Motown, Home of Detroit Muscle!
Thanks man! I'll post about the race as soon as I can 👍
@@nightwrencherperformance Looking forward to it sir. 😊😊👍👍
Great work bro....
Thanks man!
Nice job. Can’t wait to see it on the dyno. You have me worried.
I wouldn't be too worried. Its not the most beautiful thing but maybe it'll do something at the track
Cool build. Great editing, skips all the usual TH-cam useless dribble and gets right to the point for someone working on their own build. We should race 😂 I’m also wrapping up my 73 Charger turbo build. Looking for 500whp. 🎉🎉
👀
That would be cool! I checked it out! Cant wait to see it finished!
Lol big ole 90 on that wastegate
What are you talking about 🤣 you can clearly see the turn into and out of the waste gate
@@nightwrencherperformance looked like a big ole 90 when it was in the fender lol
