Wow. This speedrun is a Day old and it's already the old world record. This is going to be one heck of a speedgame! You have very optimized movement and if your Turok 2 speedruns are any indication I think your going to get some really great times. As for the train one cycle the Raptor is so fast he can just barely outrun the train LOL.
I can't get over the tracking on those acid guys... I have had them turn around and hit me when I was strafing behind them 😅, and then other times they miss me completely when I'm walking slowly
Would it help if you got the PSG parts at all? Apparently you can fire a shot, it shrinks the area enough that you can just jump to the Oblivion door very early on. Probably would save a few minutes but getting the parts would probably negate anything you gained. EDIT: Also I am confused. I have played the game 3 times now, normal, hard, and oblivion difficulty. The Oblivion boss fight was only one phase for me. He lacks the 2 blocks of health to the right of his main health bar.
The PSG strats are already known, but they're too far out of the way to give any meaningful time in return. Oblivion health gets reduced to 1 bar if you've taken out both refineries.
If it takes 37:00 to complete, isn't technically a longer game than Turok 1? 🤔 Where did the idea come from that this is the shortest Turok? Also, why didn't you do the PSG skip? Or is it a separate category?
T3 isn't as exploitable as T1. It just doesn't have any major speedtech other than having optimal movement. The PSG strats don't save enough time to warrant collecting them for Any%
Yeah, Turok one went from 37:09 to 28:25 😂 If anything, Turok 1 is the most exploitable. He found a recent skip in which he can literally jump over pillars and skip 3 sections of the first level. He also found a way to break portals and fight Mantis with the Fusion Cannon. But even without those major exploits, T1 & T3 seem to be about the same lenght, i guess what makes T3 feel short is the fact that only the last level is very long.@@WesleyWulf
