@@0v_x0the problem with Robin here is that she gains nothing from crit damage, but if you can deal enough damage with the rest of your team it could be a funny showcase team.
@@bjornnilsson2941 yeah the crit dmg only benefits Bronya who does the attacking but there's not really another way to improve it that I can think of. Using Robin ult before Bronya skill finishes its animation will snapshot the DMG% and ATK buffs which Robin will then contribute to every attack Bronya makes, along with Robin having Tingyun buffs as well. Add on 42.5% DMG and 30% from Bronya LC (even better with E1 Sparkle for 40% more ATK). It should be amusing at the very least, and might even go nuts on propagation path who knows. Something like 130% raw DMG increase with like 6k ATK on Robin. I have E1 Sparkle so I'll definitely be trying this 😄

Thank you sir, this was probably the most thoughtful showcase this round. A truly unoptimal f2p team, f2p ER problem highlight and even care for people's average Crit Value to put as a reference. Bravo. Much much better that an average "well, here's a full-FUA team, here's E0S1 [sometimes E0S0 but still full FUA] Robin, guys, believe me, she's insane".
Amazing guide! kept me entertained throughout with some relevant voiceovers, it also helped me understand your thought process as to why you did certain things especially for the 0 cycle clear.
i wish you would show robin without a follow up team and compared how she does to a ruan mei for those teams, like with say jing liu and blade or something
Probably not worth it. I mean she works outside such teams but her performance (pun intended) drops. I think she is totally worth pulling if you have either a very well built Dr Ratio or him and Topaz on your account. Ideally Aventurine too.
@@lalilola3770 I saw other videos of Robin and Ruan Mei comparison and to my surprise, she is very close with Ruan Mei outside FuA teams.
they are nearly the same rm may edge out a few times but the small amount of more dmg rm gives is off set by the fact that robin basically makes one turn into two so legit doubling the dmg you deal in one turn. anything but a sweaty speed runner will most likely not even care much witch one you use.
Considering the meta is slowly starting to benefit break effect damage, i personally will try to wait for ruan mei (i don't really like FuA's either)
Ruan Mei will be irreplaceable in some upcoming teams , better save for her rerun.

For the HARMony team, you can consider Tingyun over Silver Wolf or Ruan Mei, and Huo Huo over any other sustain since Huo Huo and Tingyun's energy charge helps Robin better maintain ult uptime, and in some cases, letting Robin ult immediately when she exit Concerto state.
i was thinking this but at some points in the vid, Robin only crits for 15k but others you can see the damage bump to a clear 84k. the defense shred between silver wolf and ruan mei could truly be doing all of that bonus damage
Nah just run full clara/aventurine/topaz.
She'll have ult by the time it's her turn as long as you have e rope.
@@Kspice9000 I think Huohuo will give more energy than aventurine tho. She gives 32 energy to her + around 24 to everyone else, and gives the most important stat for Robin (ATK). Maybe you could even change the rope to ATK with her, since ERR doesn't affect the energy from Huohuo's ult.
@@Kspice9000unfortunately, full follow up team still doesn't guarantee her ult uptime to be perpetual. And Clara, Topaz, Robin, benefit much more from Huohuo than they're with Aventurine. Aventurine's team dmg contribution - including his debuff - without his signature and good crit relic investment is just not it, he doesn't make any meaningful difference. Moreover, his high innate taunt value as preservation will steal agro for Clara, which mean less dmg and energy from Clara. Pretty much a dead weight at that point.

I think these three tiers of investment are perfect. I usually fall into E0S1 for characters I pull, and it's nice to see the near max potential that a character can have at E0S1 with the sweat build. 170 speed is crazy lol, I never get speed substats
Giving honest feedback, Its obvious follow up attacks are her forte but rather than building teams around robin, and showing them, which most people dont do, they take a dps and build around them instead, I wish for more info on how she works outside of her niche. Like if i slap her with my acheron how well will she do, if she gets tossed in with dhil how will that go etc etc
She advance forward ones in month outside of fua team, cuz u gonna get her ultimate back when everything will die from acheron, - stacks for acheron ult, even bronya and sparkle will 10 times better for s1 acheron, would just wait foxian debuffer boy for her and skip robin if u don't have her bis team already build
You should be looking for nihility characters and not harmony for Acheron teams tbh.

@siriusxfm4328 for acheron e2s1 her best team will be sparkle/ruan mei/Jiaoqiu when he's released.
Reasons being sparkles sp generation allow her/archeron/Jiaoqiu to always spam skill.
Jiaoqiu (fire nihility) will have aoe def shred/healing/aoe break dmg. Talent trace ensures evertime enemy takes action they will generate stack for acheron.
Ruan mei allows for acheron to always ensure a extended break at some point.
Other then that there's no news of of other chars that would be better then sparkle/ruan mei as support.

I have 85 pull ready for a guarantee character since i lost to clara last time. If i pull robin should i have enough jade to pull firefly when her get release?
Robin + Huohuo is my plan, using Huohuo to battery Robin ults on a DoT team so I can use Ruan Mei on the other side for any future break-DPS or other dual-DPS, or vice-versa. Also finally we have 2 RM-caliber supports for multiple dual-DPS teams in PF.
Question: could i use boot hill in the HARMony build? Seems more consistent then silver wolf ( and I don't have her anyway so gambling for him sounds more plausible lol )

None of this is fair. Your average player doesn't use ANY relics. And if they do, it's all main stat Def%. With flat HP substats.
And they'd never level up any of their traces.

Aventurine is best with him, but Topaz is the only actual important character for battery'ing Robin

Can you do a comparision between an E0S1 Robin and E6 Tingyun in a hypercarry Seele team (See/Ting/Spark/Fu or See/Ro/Spark/Fu)? I wanna know which one will be a better choice as Tingyun can recover energy for Seele in ultimate but Robin can advance forward her 100% in ultimate.
So is this the first non-power creep penacony character?
She looks good, but she has a distinct niche in FUA teams, she seems like a side-grade to Ruan Mei for Dual DPS comps.
I need you to showcase a team with Robin, Himeko, Herta, Huohuo.
I have a feeling that Robin, Herta, Himeko and Asta will absolutely fuck for Pure Fiction. My Herta and Himeko are pretty weak and slow builds but all that speed, atk, damage, crit dmg and action forward should be nuts. can already get over 30k pts with that team using Sparkle instead of Robin, and then Sparkle will be freed up for the other side.

@@Haze4743 True but with no Ruan Mei she may be second best in slot. I'm on guarantee for her so plan to try to get E1 which helps everyone's damage even tho it still doesn't break elites as fast. Normal mobs in PF don't really need the help especially if they're also ice weak.
Kinda worthless, Robin will only deal damage to one target each attack, Herta will only get one Robin attack if she spins consecutively (and if there are no respawning mobs it's only once too), huohuo barely attacks, you have too little break units for himeko, himeko and herta are usually slow builds... just lots of problems.
@@Haze4743 I dont know, sometimes I find Ruan Mei with himeko counter-intuitive if cant kill the mobs fast enough, by extending the break effect you sometimes lock yourself out of breaking new targets.

If you had Ruan mei you could have pulled topaz but topaz enables the fua IPC team...so it's a hard decision

Me with just 50 tickets. I hope I get her. Have been pull too much for Aventurine (160 pulls because I lost 50:50) and Acheron before this. With her, my FUA team will be complete.

It is possible for ftp players to go more than twice under Robin's ult. All u need is Asta with DDD or full speed Hanya with DDD with ER rope plus speed boots on your other 2 characters which is not hard to get from my experience as an ftp player. Speed sub-states are needed for Hanya but for Asta no need. I can't stess it enough that Asta has the best synergy with Robin because of her attack increase buff as well.
The 2nd best sustainer might be tie between Luocha and Huo Huo depending on whether sp is enough.
In the end, I think Robin has some of the most unique team building outside of braindead FUA team.
Eg:
1) Bronya + Blade + fastest Luocha/Adventurine = speed tuning Blade team (the only Bronya team with stable sp requirement)
2) Seele/Misha/E6 Dan Heng/Sushang + Hanya + Huo Huo
= Hanya's best supports situation
3) Asta + Any non sp hungry carry + Adventurine/Huo Huo
= Hypercarry with Asta sub dps
4) E2 slow DHIL + Hanya + Luocha/ E1 Huo Huo (for those DHIL enthusiast out there)
*Sparkle is not that great with Robin as she don't attack or fully advance somebody's turn to contribute to increase the frequency of attacks to fully utilize Robin's utility.
For zero cycle try hards, I recommend replacing any sustainers with Asta outside of FUA team
Asta, Robin, Herta, Himeko is probably going to be my standard for Pure Fiction when the weaknesses match. Also considering Tingyun and using her to buff and battery Robin herself.
Please test her with other FUA units like Clara/ Himeko and tell us if she prefers single target FUA like Ratio and Topaz or AOE deals more damage with her additional damage ?

I would say ratio’s ratio is fair, given that I had built a spare set while farming for Acheron and I have like 70 to 210 crit on him with leftovers
I really want Robin and Topazz but my priority is Firefly. And I also want Jade. Since I don't know what my luck with Firefly will be (I want E0S1 at least) I can't risk pulling until after Firefly. But I will for sure get Robin and Topazzz on their reruns.

Hmm for the last team I guess one option to lessen the speed requirement on your team is to run Robin on 4 pc Hackerspace, which could bring up your teams’ speed during the ultimate. I do wonder if the buff lasts long enough to allow the second action though. Building 140+ speed on a DPS usually comes with a big dip in damage. I say this as my Jingliu is at 144 and still shreds everything in the game lol, but I think for most DPS this is true. Also, what is the point of Vonwacq in the 170 build? Isn’t she already at 200+ effective speed on the first action? If it’s for the 5% ER I guess it can be substituted for Penacony which also helps out any physical characters on your team.

Best thing about HarmOny build is that she still buffs allies about as much as she does in full support build

Both have different role , both is universal support and sjining on their respective team in break effect team and fua team
Get robin, skip firefly and jade to get ruan mei in her rerun.

Ruan mei = Dot, Break Teams
Sparkle = Hypercarry
Robin = Dual Dps, Follow up Teams
It's pretty balanced in the sense that although sparkle is only best in slot for one type of team, hypercarry is the strongest team archetype in the game, in your case if it's ruan mei or robin i'd recommend ruan mei from what is known so far, skill point economy with IL and robins energy managements will be a bit tough to handle.
@@anonnymus6355 Hypercarry was the strongest archetype in the game, not anymore it's a thing of the past now unless you are playing acheron Hypercarry or e2 dhil with Sparkle. Pure Fiction prefers multi dps setups and MoC as well it sometimes it's better to go duo for more elemental coverage.
Man, I just don't know what to do or who to pull anymore. As a newer mostly F2P, I have no event characters, but really wanted to save up for someone who is 100% worth the pulls. I'm just real indecisive because both Robin and Boothill look really cool, but I also wouldn't have the greatest teams to put with them since I basically have no one except Welt, Himeko and Clara. Decisions, decisions. Great video, thanks a ton!

Would say get boothill, easy to build( need only breakeffect) can be used with 3* lc and do big pp dmg, harmony mc gonna be free e6 unit, asta as well for free, or wait firefly, she also looks strong, robin need her bis full fua team to not feel terrible to use with her er needs
sorry to say but this game is like this, every character needs other limited 5 stars to be good, just about every one in the game. So really just map out what teams you want then go for them, even if you have to wait for reruns, wish it was not this way but most of the 5 star characters are really not very good unless they have the right teams, and that just takes time and luck. if you want hyper carry team go boothill and if you need a support go with robin she is 100% her best with follow up attack teams but she will work on dot teams as well but for dot teams they are not even worth using if you don't have Kafka. but really at the end of the day I just roll on whoever I like lol going for robin and firefly.
I'd go for a limited sustain first because they'll make your life easier. aventurine for example who's on the banner right now (aside from being one of the best sustain), can carry you through swarm disaster and gold&gears in a breeze. you'll get your roi instantly with the rewards SU content gives
I wouldn't recommend Boothill, he's single target specialist you should get a character which works well in both pure fiction and moc. Support characters and sustains are a good start , also work on 4 star damage dealers if you have enough eidolons for them , till this day I use Xueyi for quantum weak stages.

No she isn't though. You have to try really really hard to make her fit on non-follow up teams. Her energy cost is too high otherwise. He mentioned the struggles the team had with just Ratio (idk why he didn't use Topaz. I guess F2P players never ever roll for anything besides the newest character).

If you are lacking of dps pull for boothill if not you can try pull for her, if you already have ruan mei and bronya, pulling for boothill is more reasonable for low spender

Same problem. I was thinking about getting Topaz and her lightcone to help with Ratio debuffs and get a fire element dps, but I could pull for Robin and Firefly instead of Topaz. But I really liked playing the fua event and that one showed I can build Hanya as the support
Get Robin. Topaz can be substituted with Pela or Silver Wolf.

she will work for dot if you have kafka and black swan, that extra turn on her ult and the attack buff is massive for dot teams but for Acheron prob not I mean no harmony works well with Acheron you use two nihility with her not harmony even RM is not good with her the nihility characters give her more dmg.

Robin first and Topaz second. You can use Robin in multiple teams, but you only can use Topaz in one team Follow Up Attacks
which one is better e0s1 or e1s0 robin?
