I have never been camping and am planning to do so this winter. I will be going to Altamaha Park in Georgia.

Haha yes, the campfire is playing on a little tv! Sometimes I put in the dvd and fall asleep to a crackling fire! Yes, this state park is right by a major highway so a lot of traffic noise. But it’s also in the sticks! The filter makes it so much easier to clean up! Thanks for watching!
the reflection of the red pot of coffee in the fireplace, at 10.03, epic. lov state parks for camping, my fav is moosehead lake state park here in maine. looking forward to joining my daughter and grandson next summer, on his first tenting trip. my 3 kids grew up being taken primitive tenting. anyway. that state park your at is awesome. nice seeing smores as well.

We have not been to Rickettsial Glen yet!! I’m hoping to do a couple longer trips in the spring to hit the parks in the northeastern part of the state! I made one trip out there already but couldn’t fit in all the parks in just a few days. I have to figure out which park to use for base camp haha
