Chimes do more elemental damage talismans do more physical damage it’s real easy to tell what these miracles are do to how they look that’s why a lot of people hate the way of white corona there using chimes on a physical miracle
@@Archdeacon.Krieg. I did a full miracle build (with saints talisman since it has best spell Buff) and WoWC was still garrbage. Also where are You getting this physical/element damage bonus information since this is the first Im hearing about it
@@joonapukarinen1153 I used a chime with a higher spell buff then the talisman I used the chime did less damage the talisman did more damage so I tested some other spells all the physical ones did more damage with talismans all elemental ones did more with chimes all of this was tested on the twin Greatsword knight outside of half lights boss in the ring city dlc I also had all miracles boosting things on and the sword ring that increased damage when hp is full also your hp doesn’t have to be full for the ring to work I don’t know how much hp you have to have gone before it stops working I also didn’t have the lightning ring
@@Archdeacon.Krieg. ringed knights resist lightning so if You werent using one of the few dark miracles your testing is probably flawed. If its possible You Could do the test on some hollow soldiers so its be more reliable
My first thought was there's no damage miracles for starting classes. That workaround for Gundyr blew my mind!! Way more creative than just bonking him with the talisman for 15 minutes.

Miracles are lame only in pvp where they're too easy to dodge and do not deal a lot of damage compared to weapons. For a pve build miracles are pretty efficient
@@nothanks6290 the problem is you just deal less damage for the same stat investment and attack speed. Just use a physical infusion and pump that stat. In invasions it can be ok to snipe with them, and sometimes it can help luck to have dohrys gnaw, but in reality miracles that aren't support are very poor offensively against a player in a duel. It can work if you are good, but you are handicapping yourself since usually you just default to the offhand weapon that would do more with physical. Also, most people level endurance heavily in ds3, although not as much now as before as the meta settled, but still big. Endurance adds lightning defense, this means most players have high lightning resist so no ideas of elden ring lightning.
@@funkymachine thats a good argument n all.. but consider this: which is cooler? r1 straight sword spamming? or staking a big bolt of lightning in the ground to damage your enemies.
Awesome video, miracle builds are my favorite. Huge respect to you for completing the challenge, even with all the difficulties. Also, I know smote and smitten are the past tense of smite as an English native speaker, but they're really weird because they're taken from old English- around the 1200-1300s as far as I know.
@@pastorofmuppets9346 it sounds a lot more real if you think about historic people saying it. Like medieval or biblical people saying it, “God smote him down” sounds a lot more real than “yeah I totally smote the fuck out of Brad last weekend”.
This reminds me of when I used to run a dark/faith build and just set my summons down by the Nameless King. I helped more people than I could count by two shotting his dragon and 3 shotting the main phase. Good times
@@monstasoul3542 yes, but midir doesn't have a blind mechanic unlike seath. Midir just has wider attack animations because he is blind in lore, while midir will physically attack where you aren't sometimes if you abuse silent spells/rings, similar to old hero.

Excellent, just like sorcery and pyro. As a feedback, transition slides are a good idea, maybe smoother transition from part to part would increase quality. Keep up the goodwork! Edit: Just remembered, i did not see you've mentioned the lightning clutch ring, but it is around %20 damage spike, if you are good with dodges, it is worth. Tough the ring is located in dragon peak, maybe it is late for it. I've had best results with sunlight spear when using firstborn, morne and lightning clutch rings.

I thought about the lightning clutch, but in the mid game I was using spells at melee range tanking hits so I thought that taking 10% more damage was too much, and by the time I got the sunlight spear I started to use the ring that makes me regain more focus with one estus, along with morne, firstborn and priestess. Now that I think about it the lightning clutch would have been better than the priestess probably, my bad lmao

Friede took me a while to beat as well, but learning her openings had me winning in the end. untended graves gundyr gave me slight trouble yet i pushed throguh. Midir though? Trash. Not fun to fight. Basically no openings.
@@PlateauPeak Back when co-op was viable, I fought Midir a couple hundred times as a summon, mostly because he was the hardest boss for me. When you learn the only 4 or 5 different attacks he has, it gets easy to recognize them and avoid them. His laser beam still will one-shot me every time, so you have to be behind him when he is amping up for that beam. The rest of the time, stay in his face with a melee weapon. That said, I watched Oroboro kill him on the second try when the game first came out. The boss difficulty has a lot to do with your individual play style. Mine is to keep swinging until I die. A better strategy for Midir is to focus on avoiding getting killed over trying to end him quickly. Love your content, subscribed!

I love hard challenges and bosses, and Midir is obviously tough but I think mainly because he deals a lot of damage and it's a long fight, not because he has hard to tell attacks or many of them to remember. My problem with him is that I usually get bored halfway through and get greedy, so I completely agree that the difficulty comes from the playstyle. I'm glad you like the content!
Really entertaining video ! Enjoyed it from start to finish , one thing that did surprise me was lightning clutch ring and lightning arrow not used , clearly your good enough to beat the game without them and that's awesome , I usually have a hard time timing my sunlight spear so I just put on 15 Ashen estus and spam Lightning arrow from a distance till its over 😂

This is one of the more entertaining Dark Souls videos I’ve ever watched. Of the three, it seems like the Pyromancy only run would be the easiest; no boss is immune to Pyromancy only resistant at worst (Yhorm while weak to fire is apparently weak to Black Fire Orb). Although not having Gnawing for the Demon Prince (which I genuinely am just learning about), or being able to Pestilent Mist cheese the shit out of Midir, gives me pause. I’ve heard that Boulder Heave can work against Midir but I haven’t tested it yet.

Dorthy’s Knawing is underrated in PvE I think. It does decent dark damage, quick casting time, homing, and will bleed a lot of enemies for big damage.

This is one of the more entertaining Dark Souls videos I’ve ever watched.
Of the three, it seems like the Pyromancy only run would be the easiest; no boss is immune to Pyromancy only resistant at worst (Yhorm while weak to fire is apparently weak to Black Fire Orb).
Although not having Gnawing for the Demon Prince (which I genuinely am just learning about), or being able to Pestilent Mist cheese the shit out of Midir, gives me pause. I’ve heard that Boulder Heave can work against Midir but I haven’t tested it yet.
The first 2 bosses were really clever. Great video
