I like these 3 renditions of this famous song. Runa's version is soothing and melodious to listen, however, Satyaki and Kartik are authentic baul singers. They render the song as it is probably originally meant to be rendered by Fakir Lalon himself....

So, fan fact, “Shunno” means Zero. It also stands for nothingness or void. It has another meaning, the sky or the universe. I have never really ponder over, why they choose the name, but now that you asked, I think it suits them. Shunno somehow always convey emotional connections and the void felt at their absence or simply about the hope of filling the void. Shunno is also one of the best band of BD, so it can also be a symbol of their greatness as sky. My most fev shunno song is Godhulir Opera and Behula. Thankfully you had covered both. You should definitely try “ rajahin rajjo( kingdom without a king”. Coming to “ kachar vitor ochin pakhi”, I have heard so many version in so many occasions both online and offline, that it is hard to decide who did the best. But I liked the base baba version more, because it has a very raw quality. To me, kacher vitor song stands for our most raw and primitive question of human life, how do we get a soul or life, and how does it escape despite all our attempts to keep it safe. Such raw lyrics, demands certain level of raw voice texture, that would leave your soul at a bare state. Base baba’s rendition does that. Also, I invite you to come to BD and try this song at the Lalom Akhra. They had the best version
