That makes no sense cause the tag does pay a player. Matter of fact it pays you the average of the top players at that position, it’s just isn’t long term. Also BA is still under contract he wants an extension.

Aiyuk makes 14.1 this year. Send SF Forbes or Davis & a 2nd rounder, sign him to a 3 yr / 85 million, 76.5 million guaranteed. This 1-ups the Waddle deal and puts him as the #5 highest paid WR behind Tyreek. He’d be avg just under 20 million / yr for the next 5 years (including last year of rookie contract)

There's no way Peters gives up a 1st or 2nd round pick for Aiyuk and pays him what he wants when we don't even know if JD is legit yet.
Danny is right..even if we were to take a receiver in Rd 1 next year which we can't because we need a tackle so bad but even then you are still not guaranteed to get one of aiyuk's caliber....put together a trade for aiyuk and to bring Trent back and give them whatever they want to do it....even if it's next 2 first and seconds

Aiyuk is a very talented player, and it would obviously be an upgrade to the offense, but it looks as though SF wants too much for him. If this were a premier LT, then yes, over-pay if necessary, because the need is so great. But there is not a desperate need to add a WR, so desperate acts like over-paying aren’t warranted. That’s what Snyder would do … go after the glittering object.
From another angle, Aiyuk might cause problems we don’t need. This best buddy thing between he and Jayden could generate a bit of tension in the locker room if others perceive Jayden to be inappropriately prioritizing Aiyuk, while others aren’t getting enough targets. We don’t need that nonsense going on.
Love the idea of Aiyuk. Hate the cost of Aiyuk. Go all out to get a OT

I value F1 Mclaurin over any receiver in this league! That's how much respect i have for Mclaurin! F1 Mclaurin played with below average QB play with different Qbs rotating like a play at the circus 🎪. Still managed to get a 1,000 yard season, 4 years in a row! F1 can turn into a category F5 using that 4.35 speed 🚅! What's Amazing is F1 Mclaurin Battled thru a corrupt & poorly ran organization at that time. Also poor coaching, poor Qbs play, some injuries & still had a positive Attitude about the team moving forward! Mclaurin is like a coach receiver while actually playing receiver! I don't see 🙈 any receiver in the league that has this IQ. Super talented yes. Mclaurins IQ ,No... Mclaurin is aggressive with Dbs towards the ball 🏈, dawg 🐕 mentality, Jaw dropping 😮 catches that seems out of this world 🌎! F1 Mclaurin is a 💯 hundred million dollar receiver, money 💰 Guaranteed; Hall of famer no question ❓ about it! Truly disrespected in this league and by this Aiyuk situation! I value Mclaurin 100 yards with the touchdown over a talented Aiyuk anyday. That's how freaking valuable F1 Mclaurin is! They don't have to do nothing because of one player. Its called a team.. No one person is bigger than the team. The game is build in the trenches so they need more line help than anything. What you think will happen here if Aiyuk is not happy here cry like a baby to get out.
I think terry is a better receiver than Aiyuk he has 4 back to back years with over 1,000 yards with what like 13 different QBs and a shitty offensive line Aiyuk only has 2 1,000 yard season in his last 4 years and this guy didn’t even bring him up once in his argument shows me that he’s biased against the commanders
