Hello Pat, lovely to see you……..Helen it was my Mums funeral on Monday, the vicar was wonderful, the week b4 he spent 3 hours with the family and the service was a proper Celebration of her life! When the video started your eyes were so red I thought you were going to announce bad news! I burst out laughing when I saw you both unable to stop laughing! Growing up in Canada I love Anne of Green Gables too of course. I lost it when Billy was crawling on the floor!!! That boy is such a hoot! It’s a rare occasion that he doesn’t make me laugh whenever he is on. I just love your 2 delightful grandkids! And as well, your darling Mum!
My husbands funeral was a month ago, My children and I spent hours writing his eulogy and the celebrant honed it with us.everybody said we had captured the essence of him,it helped us all on the day to know we hadn't let him down.your vidios have helped cheer me up and made me smile your mum is so like mine was and I miss the chats and laughter sue
Funny what you said about M&S layout and stock. I was in M&S today (biggish store) looking for PJ bottoms. A pathetic little selection stuck away in a corner of the bra section. That store used to have a huge sleepware selection. No idea what they are up too. Massively extended Food Hall though, so it's clear where they see their future.
You are so fortunate to have your darling Mum with you especially for Mother's Day. She reminds me so much of my Mum who passed away 6 years ago now but had Alzheimers for 13 years. We felt we lost her bit by bit over those years sadly. I still think of her every day and I think I always will. She was also one of the 'oh, that will do' brigade!!! Hug yours' close Helen xx🐝😘

Her new handbag looked ideal for her it’s nice when you get what you are after even though you had to traipse around a few shops to find it. I agree about M&S handbags they are rubbish they need to get some decent designers in for the bag section. I worked there for 22 years and they have not really progressed in that section. Wow Billy has shot up I was surprised when he stood up. You have a lovely family enjoy them as we know how precious life is. 💐🌷🌺
Lovely to see your mum again she’s great. I’ve watched all Anne with an e and it’s good. I was so disappointed that they cancelled the last series. I was on a cruise last year to Canada & visited Prince Edward Island and went to the Anne of Green gables homestead. x
Whenever I see a mum and daughter having a good giggle together it always makes me miss my own mum - we were terrible gigglers when we were together! One of the saddest elements of the dementia which stole her last 10 years was that her sense of humour became blunted but I was lucky in that she still recognised who I was right to the end. How great to have these moments on camera.
Your Mum is SO sharp and really funny! Your interactions are the absolute the best! I love how she mugs for the camera in reaction you something you have said or done, and you are not aware (at least until you play it back 😂). She is a total hoot! Thanks so much for having her on!❤❤❤
Hi Helen Your mum is remarkable for her age at 91. She reminds me of my gran as she was quick off the mark so to speak. Talking about the rolater she has. It speaks for itself the more expensive they are the better to serve the purpose I have fibromyalgia and find walking a chore. It’s difficult with a ruptured disc in my back. They cannot remove this surgically so I have to take small doses of opioid meds to help me with the pain . Still it’s a nuisance. I went from working full time as a nurse to being disabled in a matter of minutes. I hope that you get to have e your mum for a few more years yet. I think that she is fabulous and could tell a few tales of years gone by Am loving your videos as they are very good All the best. Rhian x

Initially she was horrified till she tried it and could actually get round the whole zoo at the same pace as the rest of us... The smaller kids loved it too. After that experience she bought a small boot scooter and there was no stopping he she did Legoland, Alton Towers, Harry Potter , Paris, Prague. There was just no stopping her .

When my Mother in law died, the vicar hadn’t changed the name on the sheet he used, it was for the last funeral he had conducted and hadn’t changed it to my mother in laws name, it was awful…..
