Thanks for the recommendations on how much we should have as a cushion. As you showed, it's always a good idea to be on the safe side so that you can get settled. Thanks again!

This is helpful! Over budgeting allows for that flexibility. The airport guard story though 😮

I'm glad you found it helpful! Yes, looking back on that story it's kind of crazy, but I am at least glad that it wasn't such a big deal at the time 😅

nice idea of creating a good cushion of money while trying to secure employment. Wondering if running the A/C cost a crazy amount.

Mmmmm running the A/C used to be a lot more expensive than it is now. Right now, unless you are going absolutely crazy, the electricity bill won't be the most expensive thing you get.

Last year, I lived in Argentina for exactly three months, enjoying the freedom of being single and embracing each day as it came. I managed to live comfortably on a budget of $5,000, which covered everything from accommodation to daily expenses. Opting for Airbnb rentals, particularly for month-long stays, brought significant discounts and eliminated the hassle of security deposits and paperwork, Additionally, I saved money by preparing most of my meals at home, taking advantage of the affordable groceries available in local stores. Overall, my experience taught me that with careful planning and smart choices, it's entirely feasible to live a fulfilling life in Argentina on a modest budget.

Yeap, you can definitely live here on a modest budget! Airbnbs might be a bit more on the expensive side of things now though, but you are right that there is not nearly as much paperwork.

I do have a residency! I am a permanent resident and I can apply for the nationality now 😄
There is another video in my channel that must talk about how the requirements for the residency change and depend on your country of birth, your best bet would be to look for the official government websites!
