Awesome video ! We wondering if the trailer swaying is from trailer instability or aggressive pedal input? Thanks

The pedaling style had an effect on the trailer swaying such as when getting off the seat and shifting the bike from side to side.
Single track trailers ultimately are not as stable as double track. Also since the load in this case was liquid the sloshing around of the drinks increased instability.

Cargo bikes are good for towing. They are more rigid and the back end will not sway so much. I use a bullitt with shimabo ep8 assistance

If you're going to carry that 90lb. load, you need to get it down lower, in that trailer, and the only way that, I see, to do that, is a longer trailer, with that single-wheel set-up. Ballast is key to hauling stuff by bike, with or without the trailer.

At least you stayed on....though 'Not Recommended' in the manual I guess!

Ya, and then I tried 150 lbs and did not get thrown off... Then tried 200 and the yoke bent...

@@spinundated ah dang, I just ordered this trailer hoping to use it to haul water to an open space for irrigating some plants. Found a nice looking water storage bladder that should fit perfectly, holds 29 gallons... which would be 240 lbs. I guess I'll only be able to fill it about half way ? 😬🤞

@@excitedtv 120 lbs will sway side to side in a single track trailer. The sloshing of the liquid will cause even more sway. Over time it might wear out the yoke. The 200 lbs damaged the yoke very quickly but I bent it back into place and still use the trailer.

Did you test it under normal weight! If so how does it sway?

I certainly hope all that poisonous liquid is not consumed by you.
