I bought the Dior Homme Original and its nice. I want to get the older formulations, but now I'm thinking I got the best version.
I got my DHO bottle a few weeks ago from a French acquaintance and I agree 100% with all that you said. I own most of the line and came to the conclusion that I like DHO more than the OG, DH, & DHI, but prefer DHP slightly more.
Great first impressions video and I enjoyed it and can you do a full review when you test it out because I'm a big fan of this fragrance it's a 10 out of 10 in my opinion and have a blessed night

It’s only available in Europe (along with Intense and Parfum) in Europe from retailers and Dior directly. I don’t think it will come here to the United States which is a shame. I grabbed a few bottles while visiting the U.K. Intense is popular so it shows up at discounters or resellers. Original and Parfum are so much harder to find.
Dior reformulating the fragrance that initially popularized iris in the mid-2000s for men’s fragrances is telling. Really can’t blame Dior as the iris-based formula probably wasn’t moving bottles in the States. We as fragheads love it but we’re also a niche community.

I finally got a bottle of the Dior Homme original. After wearing for a few weeks I wrote a review on fragantica and said that I like the original more than any in the line . I Thought it was just me .

@@engell3707 Ulta had presumably the brand new one in a tester. Almost bought it but went for allure home sport EE and Versace pour homme instead this time. Kinda regret not scooping it up smelling how good that tester sat on my skin all day.

How is the iris in DH Original compared to the iris in Givenchy Gentleman EDT Intense?
I just found a reputable retailer in France 🇫🇷 that sells and ships to North America ( Canada 🇨🇦) this month. I ordered two 100ml bottles of dior homme original for 136€. I got them in just under 2 weeks, they said they had to wait for a restock so they shipped bottles separately. I hadn't smelled dior homme 2011 in about 8 years BUT if you're looking for that CLASSIC SEXY IRIS cocoa...dior homme original smells the same as the 2011 version as far as I can remember. Dallas has already pointed out that ANY differences are MINOR.

I have the dior homme eau for men (now discontinued apparently) my friend gave to me like 3 years ago. I like it a lot, do you think I would like the ones talked about in this video more?
I started off with just Dior Homme eau and loved it. It introduced me to the line and I had to have the others. I now own vintage bottles of Dior Homme intense, 2014 Dior Homme sport, new Dior Homme original and Dior Homme parfum. It’s safe to safe, you may like the rest of the line and I recommend you should try Dior Homme original next since it’s probably the closest to Dior Homme Eau. The others are similar but they all root from Dior Homme original. Eau is the slightly fresher version of Dior Homme original, intense is the chocolatier version, and parfum is the leathery version of
Original. Hope this helps guide you. I literally just blind bought them after I got Dior Homme eau and have liked them all.

You should get the new Intense Cedrat Boise by Mencera 😊 My recommendation to you 😂 For me it is better than the original. Better blended and top notes are more lemony.

All the Original Homme sold in eBay seem to be coming from Poland...? Is this legit? Can't get these anywhere else. Any ideas?
My skin loves to push sweeter or darker notes so the Iris always gets overpowered by the other notes in DHI and DHP. That's why I like Dior Homme OG. As long as Iris is still the main player, ill be happy 👍
I can't find the intense and parfums in most retail stores and Dior's website. Only the EDT and Sport variations are available. Hoping more will come back to stores soon

When I like a cologne (fragrance) it’s not easy, I really don’t like many of them, I mean when I find one that I really like and would wear (because sometimes I find one or a two that I like but not enough to wear), I go OCD and buy 4 bottles on the spot. I learned that I rather have a surplus of a perfume I love than be spraying it with fear of running out.

Hello, Dallas. I have somewhat of a dilemma... I want to buy 2 Chanel fragrances (I'm new to the fragworld) and the 2 frags I'm looking forward to are Bleu de Chanel and AHS Eau Extreme. I want to know: should I get both Allure Sports or only one of them? Are they that different or a bit of the same thing?
Skip both and get vintage Chanel Antaeus 😉
extreme by far, but the reformulation made it weaker, keep that in mind
@@Divine-IQ that’s a bad advise. Antaeus smells like an old uncle used to smell back when I was a kid, I hated that smell.
Current formulation of Eau Extreme is a shell of its former self. In a lucky day, I get 3 hours of it with a very timid projection. Of all my fragrances, its the one closest to be finished because every time I wear it, it takes 12-15 sprays in my clothes to have enough on me to last me the lenght of an average Marvel movie.

Dior homme is the most wearable and to me and a lot of people In the frag comm I call it a masterpiece. It’s the Goldilocks of the Dior homme line ie. Not too much for daily wear (intense, Parfum) and not too weak (Dior homme cologne). It’s liquid frickin’ gold.

It's the same DH we know, just repackaged and called Original.
The DH 2020 and DHS 2021 are the ones that have been changed.
Confusing as hell but that's how Dior wanted to do it. 🤷🏻♂️

Both.
Very different fragrances. Like Pablo said, take both. Parfum is more luxury & elegant scent, stronger while original is easier and wearable for all occasions.
This was released a while ago, Why so late with the upload ?
I find that Dior Homme 2020 has the same drydown as Acqua Di Gio Profondo, no matter how many times I test them side by side.

To me the new DHO is diluted, slightly more fresh compared to the previous version. The iris now has that carrot smell unfortunately. The previous version was thick and creamy with better performance (that’s what she said)

The 2020 version (USA version) doesn’t have iris, the ‘original’ 2021 release has iris but only sold in Europe

Such a RIPOFF! I have recently spent nearly 100,- bucks on a bottle of Dior Homme EDT, thinking I'd continue with what I had, and loved. I might as well have shoved them down the toilet, for it's an entirely new smell, and none that I care for. Thanks Chaos Fragrances for clarifying that I wasn't hallucinating, and I'm not the only one who's disappointed. Anyhow, Dior, you've lost me!
