DAMN what an obvious lip syncing. I wont even bother pointing out the timestamps. Also sounds strangely much like JD SUMNER. Fraud quartet either way. Not so holy now, eh?
The more common song to this tune, "Rainbow of Love" was lip synced as a stage gag just after JD and the Stamps recorded it. I've heard other gospel groups, church singers and even one performance in a public high school. Everyone back then knew it was all in fun and they knew who was really doing the singing.
@@DJ-ov2it This is obviously a joke. Christmas carol of love has been used before for funny fake quartet skits with a quartet of children coming out and singing to this, it’s actually pretty funny.
He hold his mouth open enough for that line I've seen the song to on the JD Sumner recording, when I seen that part I knew they were Faking It. 4:10 if you look at his mouth he does held it open long enough and you still hear JD singing in the background.
Is there a version of this song ANYWHERE that isn't LIVE? My boys would love to perform this for our church's candlelight service, but every version I find has laughing and cheering in the background which nearly drowns out the lyrics.
I have watched all the versions of this that I can find. The ones with kids are hysterical, but you men are equally as enjoyable!
Wonderful!!!
That bass singer is excellent. Glad that he's using it for God.
Used to be. This bassman was actually J.D Summer. This video is only lipsync show.

sorry i meant JD sumner and the stamps.
I just made a match with Audacity : it's a playback.
Lip synching ...real singers are JD Sumner ( bass) and his Stamps Quartet. They were Elvis backup singers.
Not bad
