Great video. Every year I'm looking forward to visit a seedswap. Not so much swaps yet in the Netherlands, but it's growing. It's the special atmosphere and a lot of beautifull people which is unique for seedswap. I always got inspired and motivated and highly positive about what I try to accomplished in my garden.

I'll have to see if there's any seed swaps in my town. I didn't realise how important local seed growing was. That was a brilliant video liz. Thank you xxx💟

Thanks Steve, I did wonder if you'd make it to Bristol to go to the seed swap, is there one more local to you? Stroud perhaps?

I offered veg box locally a couple of years ago, but no one was interested in them on a regular basis. I'll do a bit more research into CSAs and try again this year.

@@LizZorab Yes it's difficult if you don't have regular orders. You are a little too far from me. SPYROS my husband just doesn't like going out in the car .I usually have to shop local. If we are going on holiday he will grin and bear it. I would have loved to visit and talked to Ruth about her cheese making. It's just too far for a day out. Plumber came cut big area of the wall in my bedroom to get to pipe in bathroom. Fixed the pipe ,took out the soaking wet insulation and took of skirting. The fine dust was awful. I,m waiting for a call from builder to tell what and when they will go to next step. They may have to take more section of the partition wall as all behind skirting was wet so the insulation could be wet behind the wall. I, m currently renting so I,m not in charge of the situation but things seem to be moving ahead I just don't know how long it will take to fully dry, I definitely need that holiday. Have a great day xxxx Margaret

Hi Liz, I wish there was something like that in Dumfriesshire. I have been sharing my seeds with my landlady in Steeton, where I have been working for a few month now. I have been giving more away then receiving but I don’t mind that as now my seeds are not going to waste. Eveline

Kirkcudbright's Gardening Society holds a seed swap :-) I have no idea if this is too far away from you, but here's the info. info.dumgal.gov.uk/ClubsandOrganisations/Home/Details/4286

Liz Zorab - Byther Farm Hi Liz, Kirkcudbright is 1.5 hours from Kirkpatrick Fleming. I checked out the link, but it seems to be an old one from 2014 and the website gives an error. But I will try the telephone number some time.

My husband love those beans .They look like what he calls fasoulia. Did you call them gigantes . Same thing. Cypriots eat a plate of them with olive oil and lemon. My father loved to grow broad beans .Goucha in Greek. Beans just don't agree with me ,although I eat black eyed beans with a green vegetable called lahana with olive oil and lemon. I must try to find out if it has an English name. Looks as if you had a great day out at the seed swap. Love Margaret in Pontypridd
