Thanks to you and MrMario, i attempted my first rgh on my 10+ year old Trinity 360 with a Pico and i was succesfull. I have very little soldering experience, but i was able to pull it off! Just took my time and was patient. I did not have any microscope but when it came to scraping the PLL point, i had to find my smarphone camera lens kit which had a macro lens. I have bad eye site so it helped tremendously. I also recommend anyone tapping kapton around the pll point to avoid accidentally severing a trace. Much love Modsville!! Love the vibe! Intro is always dope, miss the switch videos!
If you are getting “Header is Wrong” using the PicoFlasher and maybe other flashers… it’s because your wires from the flasher to the Xbox are to LONG. I made this mistake, my wires were around 20inches long and I was get this error. They are now around 6-9 inches long and it works perfectly fine now. Please pass this along, that the NAND wires need to be short…. Maybe at most 10 inches long. P.S. Thank you for sharing this video with us all.
Thank you so much man I've tried a cool runner and a matrix V3 and they never worked on my Trinity but thanks to your video i have revived my dead Xbox 👍😍 Btw i used a 3.3k resistor because I sit have any 3k laying around it works really well instant boot all the time
Just looked at my untouched 360 slim I bought to replace my previously DVD moded FAT in 2011 and thought now's the time to mod it. Found out my executor cx1 lite from the bottom of a cupboard and ordered a mod chip as well. After watching your install I realise I don't need anything as I have a Pi Pico and some resistors ! It all looks so much simpler to do than my DVD firmware change i did about 2008 but then again 15 years more soldering practice and a better iron helps.
This gives me a better idea on how to do it now. I got the 30 awg wire and thought this wire looks way too thin to use, but it makes more sense to me now why it is used. I have a console ready to be modded once the rest of my parts come in the mail
Realy good and precice video. Glad you didn't go down the whole "how to open up the box" and get right to the job. Realy liked the precise display ov where to solder and the tips on what could be difficulte. And good job with the camera, realy not easy working while filming and commenting :-D Just a bit of a cringe when you powered on the bare console on a rug. rather rare but that could cause a static discharge to a port, the motherboard or the front board. Especialy with a flashdrive in it. Checked out a few of your other content and Subbed :-D
When i connected the xbox 360 to a tv the screen stayed blank no matter how many different screens and cables i tried. I still have not seen the Xell screen to get the ip address or cpu key.
Hey guys! What if I made the C5P35 (PLL-Bypass) point scratch too deep (around 1mm deep)? My console will be broken? Can I reverse or repair it somehow? Thank you the answers Forward!
Hello guys, first time doing this and a got an error regarding the process of creating a xebuild image, im getting a message " ** could not read kv.bin (-1) ** ***** ERROR: critical bootloader files are missing, cannot proceed! *** FATAL BUILD ERROR: -1 unable to complete NAND image" Im getting good nand dump reads. Could it be cause by bad soldering or sum? I only think that the PLL_BYPASS problematic. Want can I do to fix?
hello, I would like to ask for your help because I have an xbox 360 and the problem is that I did all the manipulations for the RGH 3 and after creating ECC and writing ECC it does not restart on xell and it does not restart more. note that when I read the nand on jr programmer there is several information that is not present. I would like to know how to fix this. it's a trinity 16mb
Hello, I need to replace one of the resistors on my 360 Slim RF board, R67. Do you know the specs for this resistor? Is is a 0603? Is it 30 ohm? I read on a thread that I can just use a jumper from another resistor, is this correct? ANY info you can give would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

If I try to read the NAND the first one has always different sizes and the second one wont even start to read. It says: Comparing... Cant check for bad blocks. No Spare data. Possible Corona 4GB But Im sure that I have a trinity board. Does anyone know how to fix it ?
I messed up and used a 1k resistor on PLL. The Trinity does not turn on at all, it beeps but no lights. When I flash original NAND back it turns on green for a second and then red lights. Anyone have any ideas?
I have a DemoN in mine and honestly, idk that it ever hasn’t worked the first attempt. It might just take 3 seconds before I see it show up on the screen.
i have a old console thats banned not modified yet i was wondering would it be a problem with it being banned now, I know i can get a new KV when its modified but will it affect the process before i modify it?
No it won’t, the KV just gets blacklisted from the Xbox Live servers. It doesn’t actually interfere with the console or KV it’s self directly. You’ll be able to proceed without any issues, and swap the KV or use a service which handles this for you once you’ve completed the RGH 👍
sort of....you cant use regular game disc and it'll run hotter. Then you'll have to go on weird web site to download games. I only spent $200 on games and I have over 150 games. I just slap in the disc.. Down load the activation and upgrade..and Im good. I guess it would had made a greater impac 5-10 years ago when games where more expensive. So should i read and write nand before soldering the 2 wires or after? does it makes any difference?
after altho it might not make a difference just do the read and writes first that way you are sure it works

10 ohm for trinity or 3k ohm is best ?
I have some 3.3k ohm resistors will that work
Can i know the process for LPT???
That tape band can get removed and glue makes motherboard bad since its not made for hot
Motherboard becomes hot while working
4:31 where and why should i use a fiberglass pen? to scrape away any impurities?
A fiberglass pen scrapes the conformal coating on the board so you can solder on the spots that you need to solder onto
Tbh it’s really not needed. I’ve never used it and have always been able to read/write the nand. Just make sure you use flux and use leaded solder.

Is there anything side affects or disadvantages over a actual glitch chip ?
Only thing I can think of if that a dual nand setup requires a glitch chip afaik. Other than that this seems to be optimal
