Farewell my brother, in memory of Joseph Herbert Lawrentz (11/09/23)

Dear Joey,
I struggle to find the right words to express the deep sorrow that has engulfed our lives since the tragic accident that took you away from us so unexpectedly. It feels as though a hole has been carved into my heart, a void that can never be filled.
Just before the incident, we had spoken on the phone, and I remember how you insisted that we plan some quality time together. Little did I know that it would be our last conversation, forever etched in my memory. I wish I had known then how precious those moments were, and how much they would come to mean to me.
I miss you incredibly, dear brother. Life feels so different without your presence, and I struggle to come to terms with the fact that you are no longer here with us. The void you left behind is immense, and it's impossible to imagine a world where you're not a part of it.
Your daughter and son will now face a future without the comfort and guidance of their loving father. They will miss your warmth and affection, your unwavering support, and the countless memories you created together. Even your nephew, will grow up missing that special bond with his uncle.
Please know that you are loved beyond measure, and your presence in our lives will be forever missed. The memories we created together will be cherished, and your spirit will live on in our hearts. We will always remember you and hold you close, finding solace in the love we shared.
I find some comfort in believing that you are now watching over us, with Dad by your side, guiding us through life's challenges from above. Your memory will serve as a reminder for us to cherish every moment and to embrace the love and connection we share with those we hold dear.
Rest in peace, dear brother. Though our hearts ache with sorrow, we will honor your memory by living our lives to the fullest, just as you would have wanted us to.
