As a larger fella myself. And doing many boat yoga projects I feel for ya. I keep 3-4 of those foam kneeling mats on the boat to spread around where I have to worm my way into things.

Great video. Crazy amount of boat yoga but a job well done. For the future red RTV is not the best for this application. Black or gray is what you want. Shouldn’t have any negative impact. Best of luck and keep the videos coming

Kinda wondering if your not doing much boating but more maintenance / repairs this summer. We are in the same boat (no pun intended). We were waiting for parts all last summer and this summer also tasked with some repair work. Seems every year we are putting 2-3000 in repairs just to use the boat 5-6 times. Haven't seen many videos of your travels this year. Any plans for any boating trips soon? Enjoy your videos of your trips, maybe some day we will cross paths.

Kind of the opposite, we did a bunch of maintenance in the spring so we could get out this summer. We're on week 6 of being out and about (oot and aboot as they say in Canada). I'll get some videos posted soon of our adventures, it's been a wild summer!

Do you have a link to the rebuild kit you showed around 15:00 with all the gaskets and face plate? I have the Hino 175 too. I found that on the port side if you use the short stubby ratchet/wrenches from Harbour freight it makes getting the water pump off easier. I totality remove it out of boat to get the impeller out. Not a good design.

We got the kit from ebay, so we don't have a link. Good luck!

Thanks. We're not sure how often, we hadn't done it in the 3 years since we bought the boat so we thought it was a good idea since we didn't know the history. Some people say they change them every year, but we know one boat that went at least 10 years before it failed.
