Great video! There are so many fans out there that feel that the BT universe “ends in 3067” And dont seem to pay the new stuff any mind. Im very ibterested in seeing where all this is going.
Great overview of Tamar Rising! I love the format for this and Empire Alone as lore laden sourcebooks that help get readers caught up with what is going on in a region without being too dry, or without giving too little information like some of the Dark Age sourcebooks. The novels that have been released so far have been well written and help flesh out the summaries in this book. Can't wait for the next one!

Turkina, Night Gyr, black lanner, cougar, and fire falcon. ... Also I just realized looking at the artwork from this book, it's the koolaid mech (from now on this chassis will always have a big HAY KOOLAID! caption above it and I can't unsee it)
Ok so it was covered or i missed it but what are the touch point tracks in this. I was disapointed in the ilclan source book cos it had so few. And compared to the old FASA campaign book which usually had twelves or more very detailed battles these new books are a bit thin in that respect.
Love seeing your painted mechs pop up on reddit. And your video is just as good as your painting skills. Given that BT rules are pretty much eternal these source books seem to be a much better investment than say GWs campaign books? (I've just started the TT addiction) How much crunch vs fluff is there?
Technically speaking, the book is mostly lore/fluff? If you're purely concerned with rules and not into the campaign side of BT, you wouldn't get much out of this sourcebook. It's not like with 40k/AoS where they stick one page of really important new rules for an army in the book to force people to purchase it.

I’m not a fan of the Katana-Wielding Chickens, especially not after I learned about this Mongol Doctrine. That said, all of my favorite factions end up getting body-slammed hardcore through BT history, so I might have to reconsider my stance! Smack-talkery aside, great succinct video, with a good overview on what to expect with the product! Keep up the good work 😄
The ilclan books feel to me thin on content. There's a strong feeling that not much of note happens much of that obvious and could be guessed with a lot feeling like spinning their wheels. Not all bad some neat ideas just very underwhelming. It really bothers me that people are ignoring wolf empire has picked up and gone. Free worlds league and lyran commonwealth are sitting on their hands.
It does feel a bit unfair that the Falcon territory is gobbled up quickly but little mention of Wolf held planets. Though there is a novella about an attack on one planet.
This one was probably my fave of the 3 so far. Mostly because fascinated with the two new Falcon factions. Definitely some redemption for the Falcons, and seems someone else in here will take on the primary antagonist role going forward. Absolutely love those new Falcon totem mechs. Never cared much for the Falcon clan (Go Star Adders), but I am thoroughly enamored with those new totems. Brilliantly designed, and I need minis for them in my life. Will throw down a Trial of Possession on sight! :D

Wolf's plot armor is so think it protects them even from hundreds of light years away
@@lordmalal He is always 5 moves ahead of his opponents. Even people he didn't know were his opponents. It's uncanny.
