    Subscribing because of this video! I'm doing a new fuel system on my Silverado and am trying to build it to handle more power in the future if I decide to do anything. Very informative, very simple. Love a good, no bs video that gets to the point!

    I closed my eyes and I would have sworn George W was giving me a tutorial on AN fittings. Nicely done.

    I have never done ptfe just the other style an hose i like to put that same painters tape on the fittings just one wrap to prevent scratches during assembly
    And the 2 cycle is a good tip i have always use dry lube spray 😊

    These lines are so easy to make it almost seems like there’s more to it. But there isn’t. I did my lines yesterday with 2 wrenches. Started my car and zero leaks. Seems like really good stuff. Hopefully it stays that way fuel leaks are no joke. I had stainless braided regular rubber hose and the hose split from being about 6 inches away from the muffler and bent about 70 degrees. It split right in the apex of the bend and was spraying fuel everywhere through the stainless covering that didn’t have a mark on it with about 1000 miles. I noticed because the fuel pump wouldn’t prime I guess due to a leak In the system. I needed 1/2 tank for the pump to prime.

      I really like these lines they are every easy compared to others not shur about the heat with these you will have to let me know down the road how yours hold up!

      @@boostedz72 I used dei heat sheathing anywhere I thought there might be a problem. They seem to go together like a little extra easy sought of makes me think they might not last plus it’s really inexpensive but I guess we will find out. Hopefully not the hard way. I’ve had top quality stuff fail and almost everything is made in China anyway. Hit or miss I guess

    How do you like the quality of that brand ? You think it’s worth going with that one or like a vibrant hose

    • @boostedz72
      @boostedz72  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s been about 2 1/2 years now with this brand on e85 only and it has held up well as far as vibrant I shur is really good I’ve never looked into them for pricing but evil energy has held up great for a really decent price! Thanks for commenting and watching!

    Did you but that hose from Amazon and if so how is it working for you and are your fitting from there i was looking a some of the comments and a few people said it sucked so I’m just making sure

    • @boostedz72
      @boostedz72  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep I bought them off Amazon they are super easy to put together and they are still holding up strong I had one bad fitting on my an12 hose I had over tightened it but other then that I am super happy with it I would recommend it for shur!

    with these fittings do you put teflon tape on the other ends when attaching to the carb, fuel pump and tanks?

    • @boostedz72
      @boostedz72  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question! No sir they are a flared fitting so no need for teflon tape!

    • @KyleRollinsMammothSolutions
      @KyleRollinsMammothSolutions 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@boostedz72 I don't mean the flared part, I mean the threaded part that screws to whatever you are attaching the line to - say a carb or fuel pump...? I'm assuming so but wasn't sure.

  • @09fatbobmike
    @09fatbobmike 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Can you not use let's say jegs an fittings on ptfe? The fittings without sleeves

    • @boostedz72
      @boostedz72  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s a good question I don’t believe so I know there are some different style fittings out there that will work like push lock but but not to shur what all works with the page!

    • @09fatbobmike
      @09fatbobmike 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@boostedz72 I did see that the fittings with the ferrule can only be used on ptfe. But I'm not sure that we can't use other fittings on ptfe. Basically fittings without the ferrule. I'll let you know how it goes.
