I spent a year at Ft Huachuca, AZ ... many years ago and barefooted like that would have meant you got your feet full of these giant thorns .. I remember you had to constant patch bicycle tires. That plant might not grow in CA where this is filmed .. I don't remember seeing them at Ft Hunter Liggett, CA .. but I would be very careful with her bare feet. :)
