@@PeterHollens Maybe talk to Miracle of Sound and see if he's willing to add his Elder Scrolls songs to it. You, Lindsey, Malukah, and Gavin were the big Elder Scrolls song TH-camrs back when Skyrim came out. Getting them all on one CD would be amazing. Malukah has done several tracks with Miracle of Sound. I'm surprised you haven't done any tracks with him. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
The first that comes to mind is your cover of Misty Mountains together with Tim Foust (although your solo version from 11 years ago is not far behind). As far as collabs go, as @LaminateMonkey already wrote, Malukah's original Dragonborn would fit perfectly. Also, if you wanted to include another bonus track of hers, I highly recommend Malukah's take on Fear Not This Night (Guild Wars 2) together with Lara de Wit and Taylor Davis.
Dang. This takes me back. I just went to Lindsey's concert a week ago after bein a fan of her for a decade and the Skyrim song Peter and Lindsey did was how I first found her music. So nostalgic and fun at the same time. Thank you. tale of the Tongues was also a favorite.

Funnily enough, I found both you, Peter Hollens and Lindsey Stirling around the same time. Well, actually I think I found her slightly earlier but I have been following all three of you ever since. One of the most memorable works, was your collaboration on the Dragonborn comes. Still I have enjoyed going to her concerts and would love to go to one of yours one day. Also, I love Malukah’s work. I found her shortly after I started playing Skyrim. All three of you are so talented and I love your works.
I think the Skyrim theme song video was what first introduced me to both you and Lindsey Stirling! Man that was so long ago! I think I was in high school!
@PeterHollens Thank you for continuing to make music all these years!!! I've been playing in an all trombone ensemble for about 14 years as well (since high school), I write arrangements for them now, and I always go back to your music for inspiration because I love the harmonies, rhythms, textures, counter melodies, everything! The best songs that showed me the world of Peter Hollens, Malukah and Lindsey Stirling. Thanks for the joy you have brought out in all yours songs and cheers for many more!
A friend sent me your Skyrim video years ago. It was the first time I'd heard either you or Lindsey. I am now a fan of both and have been to Lindsey's concerts twice. ❤
I’m always overwhelmed listening to Peter Hollens. His exquisite vocals, his incredible sound layering, and his amazing lyrical interweaving create unique & wonderful music that cannot be equaled by any other artist. Hearing his range from delicate, soft phrases to powerful belts evoke memories and deep emotions. BRAVO!!!
I listen to Baba Yetu when I need to remember better times. I played Civ IV as a kid, I didn't have a lot of good things going for me back then, but I had Civ IV. Sang Baba Yetu in the SD All-State Choir in...2016, I think. Some of the most awe-inspiring music I've ever performed. Brings me back to a time before everything changed.
That's some powerful stuff! 🥺💖 So cool that you got to perform Baba Yetu - bet that was epic! Thanks for sharing your story, it's amazing how games and music can be our anchors in tough times. Hope our tunes keep bringing you those good vibes whenever you need 'em! 🤗🎶

It was Skyrim with Lindsey that I knew Peter Hollens since then he's the top reason I enjoy a cappella. Now Skyrim with Malukah "the gift of the voice" tells it all. ❤🎼🎵🎶
Ethereal and impossible!!! How could this performance be done without an army of voices? Those harmonies are incredible and just with two voices... Bravo, bravissimo!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I literally have every last one of these songs on my TH-cam favorites playlists, as well as purchased versions where I could get them, and watch/listen to them regularly! ❤ Seriously, love these so much.
I've never been a gamer; never played either game and only knew the names. Nothing else about them. I'm having trouble putting into words what I want to say and still make sense. This made me cry and I don't even know why. I'm not usually overly emotional. I love the passion, dedication, attention to detail, the way you jump in with both feet and give it your all. I especially love the little easter eggs of humor. I don't just hear the songs, I feel them. I don't think anyone else puts so much into whatever song they do whether it's an epic song from a game or movie, a lighthearted song from an animated movie (although many of those are epic too) or a cover of an original artist's song. More often than not, I prefer your versions far above the others, even the originals. Those you do solo as well as those you do with others. The way you layer them, your vocal range, your ability to harmonize... I don't miss instrumentals at all. I've come to hold all others to your standard and while some come sort of close, none are quite as good. And yet, you remain down to earth. Thank you.
This was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for releasing this again, and especially for introducing me to Malukah. I’ve been a subscriber to your channel for over ten years, and I have never been disappointed in anything you’ve done.

Just this weekend I decided to try doing an audiobook version of all the books in skyrim. There are a LOT (332 according to the skyrim wiki), so the prep work will take a while. You couldn't have released this at a better time. I can loop this while I get everything set up.
*looks at wife* "Rowa, should we tell him about the 3 book mods you have on SkyrimAE?" *Rowa turns her power wheelchair toward me with a sad face* "875 books including the Sun Elves tomes, I don't think an audiobook file can hold all that..." *She smiles in khajiit* "But this one would contribute to the Kickstarter so they could try!" Go on, and post here with an update!
I think the first of your work I ever heard (along with Lindsey Sterling) was your newly released Game of Thrones theme. I promptly brought you to my lady's attention. Like me, she enjoyed a capella, and like me, she was amazed by you providing so many "instruments" with just your voice. If we had played any music at her memorial, I would have nominated Into The West, or The Parting Cup
They are all really good but Daughter of the Sea is my favourite out of these. I love it, it's so epic it changes my mood instantly. I also love "The Most Haunting Game of Thrones Song" and I hope we'll see that again in another compilation like this one, it was also very epic.
THIS is what music is supposed to be... Full of heart, soul and love !!! You guys are brilliant performers... And i'd rather listen to you all, than most "mainstream" artists...
Nr 1, 6 and 7 are my favorites!! I can still remember when i just started playing Skyrim and had the main theme (nr 7) on max vollume playing from my pc speakers.......(damned i just realised how old i am getting). Keep up the good work!!
@@PeterHollens Physical is true perfection. But in all earnesty having something in your hands to look at, admire and reminisce is simply great and by far my preferred way of collecting.
Wouldn't be cool if Lindsey and Peter appeared as a NPC in Skyrim? Maybe a "show" in a Tavern on a secret level. I don't play the game, but the concept would be cool. A mini-concert in a game.
Sogno di Volare has to be one of my favorite songs of all time. It never fails to make me emotional. It's become my ritual to listen to it whenever a plane I'm flying on is taking off. Try it next time, it's an experience.
🎻 🎶 This was how I discovered Peter Hollens! I was a huge Lindsey Stirling fan, her songs still rock! The layered acapella was beyond impressive! I rock out with Peters Christmas music every year also. 😊
RE: Vokul Fen Mah, "She IS the song" is fittingly said, considering she wrote the song. :) (Not trying to imply anything here, just pointing that out for anyone who might be unfamiliar.)
I must admit, I really enjoy your mashups, and Daughter of the Sea remain my favorite song you've covered, with Song of the bell close behind and Skyrim theme song being close to my heart as it's the song that had me discover your immense talent.
I love how TH-cam just throws in something from my subscriptions every so often! My son introduced me to Peter and Malukah with Baba Yetu years ago. They need to keep working together. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You've got a great taste both in games and collaborations. These songs are masterpieces and your collaborations give them more than justice ! My favourites may be the Civilization soundtracks, it must be my kind if epic. The comments both from the TH-cam sections are yours are a nice touch, thank you for the kindness that pours from you !
I swear every time I watch your music videos, my chin ends up on the floor! 😯 Absolutely amazing! I'm always telling myself that perfection doesn't exist, but you keep proving me wrong, I think you've claimed it!
You should do a compilation like this for your folk songs. Shenandoah is one of your best. You will always have my support, Peter! Keep pushing and growing!
Peter and Malukah's Baba Yetu are a constant in my playlists since release. Your voices really grasped the content for me and meanwhile I can sing it by heart. Thank you (and Christopher Tin) so much for this masterpiece!
If it were possible to wear out a TH-cam video I would have done it with all of these. I found you through the Skyrim collab with Lindsey and have followed ever since. I'm also a big Civilization fan and Baba Yetu is a personal favorite. So much history in this one video.... (Ironic the notification for this came to my phone while I was at Lindsey's concert in Eugene yesterday.)
I first started watching all your videos when I found your DreamWorks melody video. HTTYD is my childhood. I also love playing Skyrim. My fav character to play as is a Khaijit. Civ is one of my favourites too!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Try putting your This Greatest showman songs together into one like this!! Just listening to the songs this video gives me chills snd I love it!!! 💖💖💖💖💖
I have the mod with Malukah singing in all the taverns when the songs start, it is great. I cannot watch The hobbit or The lord of the rings without listening to your version of the drinking song. Both of you are long time favorites and Lindsey is the only fiddle player who might have given my grandfather a challenge, he won the Crockett fiddle festival years ago three years in a row. Crockett is a smallish town in East Texas. Thanks for this. Now even if I can't be playing the Rim I can listen while I do my work. God Bless
I was JUST listening to your original Baba Yetu video (for the 5000th time) and wondering what ever became of Malukah. SOOOO glad you're giving her voice some attention again.
Been listening to this music for a decade. The Skyrim song was probably the first song of yours I heard due to the amount of Lindsey I listen to. Saw her Duality concert last month and it is also epic. 🎶
Your voices are incredible (but i already knew that) and blend together beautifully!! thank you very much from someone that played Skyrim for more then 2.000 hours and the whole Civ saga from the very first game!!
Please do a collaboration with both Lindsey and Malukah, we've had the pleasure to see you give these wonderful performances with both of them but sadly we've never seen these two talented women perform together yet. The three of you could really do something amazing together I bet.
Always love these so much! Such amazing talent and all with the power of the human voice (and violin!). Can't help but tear up with all of these from such a visceral emotional and sentimental place for all of us. Fond memories all. I hope that you do the songs from Baldur's Gate 3. You are a true master bard yourself. thank you for bringing us all of these joyous trips down memory lane.
I remember the opening to this being some of the first to introduce me to Peter and Lindsey. I've loved and followed their work for years. I admit I was hoping for a "new" collaboration between them. Make it so please.
Absolutely stunning, have followed you for years and i must say every new song you put out is even more divine and heavenly then the song before. Thank you for everything you go through to bring us your beautiful voice.
Lol at some of those featured comments. Nice collection! Only one was new to me, but definitely still worth the listen. I think the Civ theme is still my favorite.

"But this one would contribute to the Kickstarter so they could try!"
Go on, and post here with an update!
That was a very nice trip back the memory line with some of my most valued musicians and games.. thx 🙏
This comment just made my day! Means the world that you're feeling it! 🙌
Nr 1, 6 and 7 are my favorites!! I can still remember when i just started playing Skyrim and had the main theme (nr 7) on max vollume playing from my pc speakers.......(damned i just realised how old i am getting). Keep up the good work!!
I wish this was a CD we could purchase! (yeah, showing my age but I don't care :P ) You are all amazing and really bring Skyrim to life!
It’s all online in every spotify, apple, amazon etc digital form…. Do you only like physical?
@@PeterHollens Physical is true perfection. But in all earnesty having something in your hands to look at, admire and reminisce is simply great and by far my preferred way of collecting.
oh man oh man i remember the olden days when your skyrim got released... brings me back
Wouldn't be cool if Lindsey and Peter appeared as a NPC in Skyrim? Maybe a "show" in a Tavern on a secret level.
I don't play the game, but the concept would be cool. A mini-concert in a game.
Sogno di Volare has to be one of my favorite songs of all time. It never fails to make me emotional.
It's become my ritual to listen to it whenever a plane I'm flying on is taking off. Try it next time, it's an experience.
Love that you've turned it into a takeoff ritual. Might have to steal that idea! ✈️😭
🎻 🎶 This was how I discovered Peter Hollens! I was a huge Lindsey Stirling fan, her songs still rock! The layered acapella was beyond impressive! I rock out with Peters Christmas music every year also. 😊
This is *EPIC!!* 👏 Now I want to play Skyrim again.
I've found something to put on loop. An all time greatest hits of Peter Hollens Skyrim and Civ version. :)
RE: Vokul Fen Mah, "She IS the song" is fittingly said, considering she wrote the song. :)
(Not trying to imply anything here, just pointing that out for anyone who might be unfamiliar.)
WOW!!!!!! I am Skyrim fan. The first and second song was powerful done. The rest is AWESOME!!!!!! Thank you. CD 💿 will be available??????❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My 2 favorite renditions of the skyrim dragonborn song, now combined, fantastic.
I must admit, I really enjoy your mashups, and Daughter of the Sea remain my favorite song you've covered, with Song of the bell close behind and Skyrim theme song being close to my heart as it's the song that had me discover your immense talent.
Woah, hanks for sticking around and jamming with me all this time! 🥰
💖💖💖
I swear every time I watch your music videos, my chin ends up on the floor! 😯 Absolutely amazing! I'm always telling myself that perfection doesn't exist, but you keep proving me wrong, I think you've claimed it!
You should do a compilation like this for your folk songs. Shenandoah is one of your best. You will always have my support, Peter! Keep pushing and growing!
Dream of Flight.....the one song I play every time I take off in a plane for destination exemplar! Should be played for every flight going forward!
Enjoying this from Norway tonight, with the northern lights cascading like to waterfall in light right outside my window. Xx
Wonderful compilation!!! I Love all of these and I can't tell how many times I've heard them on repeat 💜
This comment is like music to my ears! Thanks for being such an awesome listener! 💖
Best of the best songs Peter i love Skyrim so much. And plays also alot of civ. Good job keep on going and give us your music.
I always love your work Peter - and this work with Malukah is amazing :)
Civ is one of my favourites too!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It was great hearing the Skyrim song again with you and Lindsay.
God Bless
This is so inspiring!!! What an amazing example of full on creativity!
I absolutely LOVE Baba Yetu and Sogno di Volare! You and the people you collaborate with are truly an inspiration. God bless you and yours 💙
Thanks for sticking with me through all these musical adventures! It's fans like you that make all the behind-the-scenes craziness worth it! 🥰
More with Lindsey Sterling! That was amazing!
Lol at some of those featured comments. Nice collection! Only one was new to me, but definitely still worth the listen. I think the Civ theme is still my favorite.
The music and songs from Guild Wars 2 are incredible!
