To be fair, this patch was aimed at buffing kameos and only making minor changes for main roster. I still have hope for the next patch that Sub-Zero will get buffed in a more major way.

I wouldn't say so! Sub-Zero is still a character that struggles a ton, but this patch was meant to buff the underused Kameos more than it was to change the main roster. Considering Sub-Zero got some minor buffs this patch, it makes me think that next patch will come with some buffs for our blue ninja. After all, the two-meter amplify for ice klone seems to be a bug, so when they fix it he'll have more corner pressure with the one bar single ice klone amplify.
Forgot to mention that Goro also recharges Kameo bar faster after punch walk! Otherwise I hope this helped!

True that, it’s just the in-game name is called a parry so I was treating it as if it was a parry. But functionally it is more of a reversal.

Basically a nerf is when a character gets a change that makes them worse/weaker. It can be minor or it can be major.
