The people in Hartlepool are probably the friendliest people on the planet.i was born there in 1973 and born again there in 1994 praise God.Jesus saves.

Three years ago, ah the good old days... Those houses each have a family of 12 Africans in them now. Be careful what you wish for.

Name a town or city in the UK that doesn't have empty run down houses or drug users. 😂😂

Sad about 20 years ago that street was nice but they keep knocking areas down so the scum from there spread to places like Wilson street

Not many but I’ve worked in most cities and towns in the UK and Hartlepool is more run down than any I’ve been too by far.

Not only does the Cleveland area Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Stockton have the highest crime rates in the UK it has the highest Drug deaths the highest unemployment the highest percentage in deprived neighbourhoods and a very high number of vacant homes.

I used to live in the Rydal Street area years ago and it was nothing like that then!
I don't even live in Hartlepool anymore. It's gone to rack and ruin.

@@livingoffgridinscotland It was still a hell of a lot better 5 years ago. And right now is a hell of a lot better than it'll be in a year! We're being diversity-bombed at an alarming rate.

Thank you. People complaining housing shortage and telling government to build more should watch this. Government paying millions and millions to people living on benifit especially in London should move people to bring housing shortage in busy cities, save money and affordable housing for others/rent. Government should invest in city like Hartlepool and create jobs. Immigrants/ assylum seekers should be housed in these empty houses rather than in hotels.

Hartlepool is suddenly coming up in the world over the last few months, these cheap properties are getting bought up by naive first time landlords who are renovating them. Suddenly we are getting rental enquiries from DSS tenants wanting to move from down south where they can no longer find accommodation…..

Hartlepool is constantly building houses even tho we have around 2000 empty houses. Only cause council's can get backhandeders

    Hartlepool is a small town.

Nope, all private landlords, the streets are lawless and properties get broken into all the time so not many letting agents will take them on...

Hartlepool is a great place to live because we have a few beaches and some nice parks and the entertainment on the evening is great.

I'm from a village in nearby Durham and there's literally druggies injecting in people's gardens.. maybe Hpool is better for that!
