Singapore is crazy because they re-invented how you should experience a city - they really immerse you into a futuristic utopian world in tune with nature. So green, modern, clean, cosmopolitan, safe and futuristic. Definitely feels like Avatar in city form.

Actually, if you dig a little deeper (ie lots of info signage), most of these “attractions” have/are some functional purpose to our existing and/or future infrastructure - existentially and sustainability wise.

the Heng Heng chicken rice that you ate isnt the famous one, it is actually Tian Tian Hainanese chicken rice. The reason there is even a queue at Heng Heng is because its lunch time, so that queue is basically a spill over queue when people have no other choice :)

@@foodmore i guess tian tian's taste changed quite abit (altered towards tourists?) since the younger generation took over. Hate it that they serve in disposal wares too... they may have changed it recent weeks though.
Actually the real gem at Maxwell market is the Teochew Rice and Porridge stall, especially if you get the freshly off the wok dishes cooked by the 80+ granny!!
Old Nonya has pretty good nonya style curry chicken, which many tourist simply decide to skip it since they already had curry when they try out indian food. What a shame 💔.
Zhen zhen porridge is so old school and ever so comforting!
Of course the best experience there is the 40+ years old or even more so, Hum Jin Peng. Frying the fritters yourself is the best fun in town!!!

Singapore 🇸🇬 is not your typical South East Asia city that you have visited i.e. Thailand🇹🇭, Philippines 🇵🇭, Malaysia 🇲🇾, Indonesia 🇮🇩, Vietnam 🇻🇳, Cambodia 🇰🇭, Myanmar 🇲🇲 or even Brunei 🇧🇳. A combination of Modern Architecture surrounded by old British 🇬🇧 colonial buildings with lush foliage on the skyscrapers. Very westernized and contemporary yet still preserve the old rustic looks of old village settings. The price of accommodation and food tends to be on the pricey side if you dine on a mostly touristy flank. Go to hawker centers for cheaper options in Singapore 🇸🇬. There is plenty of it here and to approximate is beyond comparison. Hope you relish the adventure of staying here in Singapore 🇸🇬.
The Gardens by the Bay is a nature park spanning 101 hectares (250 acres) in the Central Region of Singapore 🇸🇬, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden (in Marina South), Bay East Garden (in Marina East) and Bay Central Garden (in Downtown Core and Kallang). The largest of the gardens is the Bay South Garden at 54 hectares (130 acres) designed by Grant Associates. Its Flower Dome is the largest glass greenhouse in the world.
Singapore's Changi Airport has consistently been voted the best airport in the world and kept its title for the 12th consecutive year at the 2023 awards. Along with it, Changi Airport also won the award for the World’s Best Airport Leisure Amenities, maintaining its position as the most entertaining airport in the world for long layovers. This list was updated to include new attractions that Changi has opened over the months as well as facilities that have reopened after the pandemic restrictions.

•SHISEIDO FOREST VALLEY EXPLORE ETERNAL SPRING WITHIN JEWEL:-
Step out of the airport right into a lush green sanctuary, a tranquil retreat in the core of the world's best transport hub. Immerse yourself in this garden wonderland and meet Singapore, the City in a Garden.
Shiseido is the proud sponsor of the Shiseido Forest Valley. Experience the SENSE installation at the Shiseido Forest Valley’s west trail, with dancing lights illuminating the trees, soothing music playing in the background, and the signature scent of SHISEIDO Ultimune, your senses will be truly delighted.
