- The first episode of the PTXperience is out! Pentatonix arrives at LAX to fly out to Nashville for tech rehearsals at Sound Stage Studios. While in rehearsals, we see the newer and bigger stage but the group is met with some difficulties getting used to the new stage and getting through some injuries.

I have an obsession with Kirstie, probably the biggest crush I've ever had... I know it's because her looks are perfect and her voice takes that perfect to a whole new level + so many unexplainable little things. Then, there's Mitch's voice which is addicting, unique, and incredibly beautiful. Avi's dance moves + everything else you're thinking... Scott's hilarious personality and powerful voice. Then Kevin, whose skill level of beatboxing, cello, and intelligence gives him +1000x respect. Put them all together and you get musical magic!

I love this because it is made internally and not by a program like MTV - they don't have to make up fake drama in the group for a show. We can just hear them actually speaking and being real.

I feel so bad for Avi, poor guy :( I totally get what he's going through. I used to do athletics, like short and long distance running, high and long jumping etc. and one time just a few days before the competition, I busted my right knee so bad, while I was jogging I stumbled and I twisted it badly, it had a huge bruise and I was limping all the time. Sadly our team had no substitute people so I had to do it anyway or we would've had to forfeit and by the day's end my knee had swollen about three times in size. So, not really a pleasant experience to go through, even with pain killers.

I love how they had no way of knowing each other until three random people asked them to take a chance and compete on a show with them. Friendships can happen just like that! lol

Watching this in 2021 it’s striking how stripped down their tours are compared to what they are today (well, pre-COVID). Not a ton of staff, flying coach, carrying their own boxes of stuff…it really makes you realize how far they’ve come. (Imagine reading ‘pre-COVID’ in 2014 in this context and trying to figure out what that means - lol.)
