"That's really what the spirit of being at the ballpark is all about -- getting a souvenir or ten or twenty, sharing the love, and just enjoying the great national pastime."
Hey Zack! Just wanted to say that you were the person that made me start going to all these baseball games and watching baseball more as a whole. I've now been to almost 736 games, and that's all thanks to you. So thank you so much for brining all this joy to me, and keep up all the great videos.
Hey I’m at Great American right now! Here I was hoping the get to right field for bp but somebody decided it was a good idea to open the gates only 1 hour before first pitch. Anyways bored and stuck in a rain delay now.
If anyone was curious, that game did resume that night after a nearly 3 hour delay. Braves scored 2 runs on a home run to the center field grass, in the top of 8th, and the Reds scored 1 on a sac fly in the bottom of the 8th. Final score for the game was Braves 2 Reds 4.
Come to your favorite park Camden yards! Not only is it the best ballpark, but my orioles are struggling, and the pitchers are giving up HRs at a historic rate. You’ll definitely get a game HR in Baltimore this year ;)
Zack!!! I’m watching the Reds against the Dodgers and they are looking for video of Chris House doing the drill you show in this video with the catchers. They said it originated with a ladder!!! Contact Fox Sports Ohio.. they said they wanted footage of it.. what perfect timing
Zack I’m rlly happy that even after u hit the milestone of 10,000 baseballs, you are still going to games, keeping up with ur TH-cam channel, making good content, and catching baseballs. And believe me, 🔜20,000
I imagine he'll do it til he retires. Hes done it long enough to have enoigh stats to make a projected number for a career number of balls, but even that is just a 'ballpark' number. This dude goes HAM on some ball hawking. Those baseballs are literally $ in his pocket.
5:55 I would like to point out something Zack did that is educational, & may save your fingers someday. When introducing yourself to a dog you just met, always make a fist so the dog can smell you. Never put your hand out flat, because the dog can nip your fingers. Making a fist lessens a chance the dog can put it's mouth around your hand.
Zach have you ever eaten at a ballpark and not liked the food, or is most ballpark food amazing? Also, is most of your diet on ballparks, or do you tend to eat healthy when you're not at a game?
Yet again another great video by Zack. I loved your trilogy of all the reds games you really inspire me allot and inspired me to purchase tickets for me and my family to the Chicago Cubs game I'm so happy I found this channel and I love how you bring so much joy and happiness to TH-cam ❤️ keep doing what you are doing and I can't wait! Until your next video this was a fun video even thought it was rained out and keep having fun
I get it this dude might be a little odd and rub people the wrong way occasionally , but there is no need to hate. He is doing what he loves and makes a living off of it. All of you haters in the comment section are just jealous. And btw he gives out almost all of the balls he gets. I mean, he is even giving away an Acuna signed ball. I guarantee none of you would give that away.
I know it’s way too early to tell , but the league just announced the Cubs/Cardinals will play a series in London for the 2020 season , you think you’ll be there ? (Pls put this in your Q&A part 18) love your videos man !
Zack you really need to teach today's baseball players how to sign their autographs more legibly. Your autograph is something I can read instead of the chicken scratch that unfortunately 99% of the ball players sign on stuff. Quick story: I remember 20 years ago a fan complained to Minnesota Twins great Torii Hunter about his autograph and he listened and agreed that he should sign his name better. He had one of the nicest signatures from his generation.
How much did the "Smoke House Bowl" from Mr Reds Smokehouse cost? Hey Zack! Love the videos, This is my hometown ballpark and was there with my son two weeks ago watching them play. We opted for the all you can eat option on the third floor that costs 20 dollars a person but now that seems like such a waste after seeing that "Smoke House Bowl" That thing looked incredible. And i'm not sure if you knew it but it was from a place called Montgomery Inn which is a local favorite upscale BBQ joint. In all honesty though it doesn't compare to other major cities BBQ like Nashville and more southern locations. I really love BBQ from the Carolina's. Thank you for the videos but I am wondering if you can recall the ballpark price on that meal. I am looking online and cant find a price, and stadium food is very expensive so It looks like it might cost 50 bucks lol. Thanks for helping. Im also very happy you enjoy our town and stadium. You are more than welcome to come here and ball hawk. Its fantastic Edited - To put the question front and center in hopes it gets read and answered because that was the intention of the entire comment in order to ask that, but as I am doing now I just ramble and it might be too daunting to read and respond to.
To me, getting Sonny to throw you a ball is such a cool connection...I'm a mega fan I like getting in early watching bp..I grew up in the Bronx I seen it all
Technically, the ball going into the stands is still MLB property. The team could require you to hand over baseballs that go into the stands. Obviously they don't, and it's smart business not to do that, but it supports what you are saying Zack that its just important to live by their rules. Getting balls via glove trick is not "stealing" anything, any more than taking home a ball that leaves the stands.
I always keep my Zack Hample notications on...and I'm a grown man! Did you finish eating Smokehouse Bowl and where does it rank on your favorite stadium food? Top 5 all-time? Bad weather (cold and nasty) are my best ball hawking days at Wrigley...less competition...and cheap tickets.
i am almost 99% sure that nationals park is one of the worst stadiums in mlb. im a nats fan, been there many times. players are cool, security, not so much
I hope your recognized long after your days of ball hawking. I feel each stadium should put up a plaque of you, your all time numbers, and individual numbers per park.
I respect your opinion, but just saying its stupid is not much of a reason. The mans dedicated his life to something he loves doing and is hands down the best. He inspires the young fans to try what he does. Baseball is a numbers games, and he has records that wont be met or beat.
For a Q&A, what is the most common item you sign for fans? Baseballs? Hats? Gloves? Ticket Stubs? And what is the strangest thing you have signed for a fan?
3:26 I love that quote!
"That's really what the spirit of being at the ballpark is all about -- getting a souvenir or ten or twenty, sharing the love, and just enjoying the great national pastime."
Same

5:05 When Zack Hample’s been deprived of baseballs for more than an hour.
1:47 you could hear that ball coming in so fast!

Whoa! That's a ton of games.
When he threw that umbrella I lost it🤣🤣🤣

That .9 is so pointless😂

Zach its a crime to step into Great American BP let alone Cincinnati and not grab a cony or a 3 way from Skyline Chili. New subscriber! Go Red Legs!
Loving the daily uploads!! Keep it up!!
Thanks. Gotta try to catch up.

I am definitely odd. No denying that. Thanks for your kind words and support.

The gates opened for people with early BP tickets. ;)

Logan wants to know if they continued the game after you left or was it rained out?
They did. No homers to LF.
will you be at the game sunday vs the dodgers?
“Getting a souvenir or 10 or 20”
Why do you make your crazy schedule where you have to leave right after a ball game? I would wait till the next morning and stay the night.
Will you go to SunTrust Park please.
-McFlury
Zack are you going to The Mets game on Saturday May 25
0:23 = That's what she said!!!!!!!!!!

Grown men are always welcome here. I nearly finished it. Gave a bit to Ian. I would say maybe Top Ten but not Top Five.
i am almost 99% sure that nationals park is one of the worst stadiums in mlb. im a nats fan, been there many times. players are cool, security, not so much
I totally agree. I've had MISERABLE experiences there.
I love your videos Zack. Keep up with the excellent video and never give up!!! 👍😄⚾
Congrats on 400,000

The guy in the background when Zach is hugging ball is like
BRO PULL UR HED OUT OF UR A#S
Yo I’ve seen you at the San Diego all star game and I’ve been subbed with notifications on since 15k
Whoa!
I hope your recognized long after your days of ball hawking. I feel each stadium should put up a plaque of you, your all time numbers, and individual numbers per park.
That’s ridiculously stupid
Ridiculous585 he’s a good guy but should not have a plaque in each stadium
I respect your opinion, but just saying its stupid is not much of a reason. The mans dedicated his life to something he loves doing and is hands down the best. He inspires the young fans to try what he does. Baseball is a numbers games, and he has records that wont be met or beat.
Ridiculous585 Yes he is very dedicated but even some of the Players don’t have plaques
Hey Zack!! I love your vids and everyone make sure to have your notifications on!!

For a Q&A, what is the most common item you sign for fans? Baseballs? Hats? Gloves? Ticket Stubs? And what is the strangest thing you have signed for a fan?
