The blood of Jesus makes us clean, spotless and blameless! We are set free from rituals through our faith and belief, thank you Jesus!

This sounds a lot more like hygiene and halting the spread of disease rather than a spiritual issue.

A lot of passages in the Bible is rooted as a spiritual issue, but many times it also has a very practical and wise reason to it, even though that reason it is not always mentioned in Bible.

The Holy Bible is educational. This is only about hygiene education. There are studies on hygiene outside of the Holy Bible, too. The studies are much longer and there are thorough books on hygiene in the world.

I wonder what it means, the verse that says to keep the Israelites from anything unclean so that they will not die by defiling the dwelling place of the Lord, for today.

@@andresbrown6511 these are secrets that are covered up. Pretty much anytime you spill your seed, you become unclean. Spilling your seed is a sin unless it is spilled to make a baby.

@@xGhostRidah I wouldn't qualify it totally as sin. Sometimes guys struggle with issues of unmerited emission for whatever reason. The Bible refers to it as a man's uncleanness, not his sin or iniquity. I mean, the intention and action leading toward it can be qualified as sin, but not all of the time, you know?

@@andresbrown6511 for a male, your semen is your life force. When you discharge, you loose vital energy. You feel weak, your always tired, and you feel guilty. So this scripture being unclean when you discharge is very true. When you keep it in, you have energy to do things. Your thoughts become pure, you feel stronger, you sleep better, you feel untouchable.

It’s not germ theory. It’s eduction that’s way ahead of its time for sure. But the Bible doesn’t say things like “for there are living beings beyond your sight that cause you to get sick”.

Kind of crazy how the creator of the universe didn’t understand that having your period is a completely normal and healthy thing. Woman are not “unclean” for 75% of the month. If it’s wrong today, it was wrong 4000 years ago

This was the Old Testament laws… we are under the New Testament we are living after Jesus not before. We follow the 10 commandments regarding murder, lying, idolatry, coveting… The greatest commandment of all is to love one another as we love ourselves.

First of all, I’ve heard this argument over and over from theists and it’s wrong.
nope. God doesn’t change. He’s the same then as he is now, so when he commanded you to cut off your wife’s hands for touching your dick during a fight and then COMMANDED you to show her know pity, that was the character of god then and now.
Also, the point is has NOTHING to do with the Old Testament. The point is that the Bible got the facts regarding a woman’s menstrual cycle flat out wrong. Woman are not unclean because they are on their period and they can’t be sinful. It is a normal part of being a woman. If the Bible said 2+2=5, you’d say that’s wrong not “well that’s the Old Testament”

If it's 7 days then isn't it only 25%? Defacation is also a 100% normal and natural thing also but their is a procedure to deal with it just like an emission of seman or un fertilized egg.

And.... What's wrong with that?.. Spreading the Truth so that other commenters can see it, and you have a problem with that?.. Seems like you have a problem with yourself and with God, actually. Seek GOD and repent (turn away) from your sins!
      God Bless You.

@@SanctifiedLady These superstitions laws made it into the New Testament. (Luke 2:24) Mary, the mother of Jesus, the mother of God, had to slaughter two pigeons because she gave birth to a baby boy.

@@SergeantSkeptic686 okay think about what you just said….The Old Testament laws required sacrifices but humans weren’t pure they were born in sin…therefore, they used the highest quality of pure blood to atone for their sins.
The New Testament begins in Matthew all the way to the Cross.
God sent Jesus as flesh to be the pure and last blood sacrifice for all sin, he abolished the Old Testament law of the Sabbath he gave us the Holy Spirit.
So if Mary had to do a blood sacrifice it’s because Jesus wasn’t sacrificed yet. He had to grow up, it was not his time.
The only blood sacrifices that were done after Jesus were not to atone for sin…it is for devil (demon) idol worship…even today abortion and murder and any negative thing mankind does it’s for Satan’s glory and the gifts he can give.

@@SergeantSkeptic686 Luke 2:23 THE LAW of the Lord says, “If a woman’s first child is a boy, he must be dedicated to THE LORD.” so they offered the sacrifice REQUIRED in THE LAW of the Lord- “either a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.”
Correct! All the animals sacrifices in the law were required by God because EVERYONE’S DNA was under the fall of Adam and Eve. No one had pure blood all products of sin.
Remember Cain and Able? God required top quality untainted, unharmed, not deformed animal blood because no man was good enough.
Remember Abraham, God told him to sacrifice their only child that they prayed almost 100yrs for as a test of his faith, trust in God.
All that ended related to God once Jesus pure blood was spilled for us.
      Be blessed
