I haven’t watched regular TV shows since I found “Adler Farms” years ago. I watch every Doss family video from the entire family along with other farming families.
I don't watch TV at all and it hasn't been plugged in since last summer. Only my little grandkids watch the TV.

Hi Grandpa and Grandma glad to see you today, it's been a frustrating week. As you know mom has dementia and altzheimers (sp) and I'm assuming she has going into the anger faze of the disease. She has been so angry lately and taking it out on me and my sister. She doesn't know who my sister and I are and she hallucinates all the time. It's time for her dr to try another medicine. Please pray for me and my family. We would appreciate the support thank you
I pray for you. My dad has Alzheimer's too. He is having the sundown's and hallucinations almost daily now.. I feel so bad for him.
Praying 🙏....I'm so sorry about the Alzheimer's diagnosis. My great grandmother, grandmother and mom all had it. Plus I used to care for Alzheimer's/ dementia patients. Its truly the long goodbye and its so difficult to be the caretaker. My advice is to get respite care when you can and enjoy a couple hours away. Also, don't try to orientate them into today's reality. You go into their reality even if there is cows on the neighbors roof. Play music from their era, it really does calm them. Also old TV shows they used to enjoy works. Some like to have a stuffy or babydoll. Or start dancing and being silly, try to get them to laugh. I used to play my musical instruments with songs that they knew or kicking a Styrofoam ball. Its a very difficult time during all stages. Just remember to always treat them with love and respect

Probably just need to close he garage at night. The wild animals aren't going to stop now that they know there is food and shelter. Wonder if you just put a couple of those heated houses that Kyle and Shannon have on a high shelf on the back porch. The cats can come inside the garage to eat during the day. If they stay out at night, they have a warm, elevated house at night.
LOL, I saw Chad's video this morning when he was at your house putting up the tv bracket and you had The Andy Griffith on. I'm so glad someone else likes Andy Griffith. I also have it on all day and know every episode's script by heart, lol. I also watch Columbo and Bewitched. Call me old-fashioned, but those shows were great.😊

I special needs som and his day program one on one were in a serious accident last week. A car t-boned them with direct impact on the door where he was sitting. He was able to walk away with not even a scratch or sore muscle. I said that I believe God had him bubble wrapped. Only god could have gotten him through that. When they called me to tell me there had been an accident, you can't imagine my relief that I could hear him in the background laughing and entertaining the paramedic who was checking him out. God is so good.
Those who don't have the Holy Spirit in them may not understand how someone can be, for the most part, at peace, in spite of what's going on around them. That, in itself, is one of the greatest testimonies there is. Wouldn't you agree? 💜🙏✝️

Loved seeing the deer with the chickens. Best thing you can do is to stand up for yourselves and ask questions to the doctors. I learned that years ago talking to VA doctors about my husband’s health. Don’t leave until you get an answer. I’ll be praying for y’all this week. Having no answers drives me batty too. That video was awesome of Chad hanging your tv! I sure as heck couldn’t hang up mine. 😂 Lifting everyone up in prayers! 🙏🏽❤️
When I go to see any of my doctors, I take a small notebook with my questions. As far as I'm concerned, the appointment isn't over until all my questions have been addressed.

Good afternoon Grandma and Grandpa the deer are so beautiful...we had deer on our property on Easter Sunday last year.
You have to watch the hair in the dogs’ ears. Dog ears are long tubes that collect hair, dirt, and sometimes little creatures. We have had several Goldens. It was not uncommon for them to get ear infections. The warm, moist environment of that deep ear makes for perfect breeding grounds for bacteria. We have used some hydrogen peroxide and a facial wipe to resolve and wipe out the ear canals. They can get pretty icky and smelly. If that doesn’t work, you might have to visit the Veterinary Clinic. Good luck.
I love working with physician assistants. They take time to listen to you. They explain things clearly. And sometimes they pick up on things the doctors don't. Also doctors say you will feel great and be a new person. Nurses have said no, it takes a full year to recover from a surgery
Just be yourselves at all times! We are here being entertained with real people so we love you as you are 😂!

Please say a prayer for me this week as I start kemo treatments. I wad diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer the first week of December. I have went through a lumpectomy, & a port put in. I have been so scared for 2 months, & I have been afraid to ask for prayers but I need them so I can get through this huge chapter of my life.

I have to tell you we built a new home in Florida over 20 years ago. The house was finished early so I moved into it alone. My husband told me I could not hang anything on the wall over 2 pounds. I still have no pictures in my bathroom.

I've always found that the PAs I see are much more attentive and informative than the MDs. I think some Dr's don't have the most patience or are as open to questions. The PAs spend more time, really listen, and don't immediately jump to conclusions about any concerns I have. I hope you have the same experience on Wed and get the answers you need.

I can't imagine how wonderful it must be to see deer in your backyard. The chickens didn't seem to be bothered at all by the deer. All your goats have different personalities. Ralph, I never put my milk in the refrigerator door. It goes on the top shelf away from the light bulb. Everyone has there own way of doing things. I too have 3 pairs of shoes, and 10 inches of clothes space in the walk in closet..and he tells me I need to go buy more clothes...🤣🤣and put them- WHERE?🤣🤣 NOW, back up to walking into the gate, while you were petting Ryley- She was shaking her head. It's probably ear mites, and you can get drops at Tractor supply. It's common with animals.

I buy 2 1/2 gallons and freeze one and that has worked great! It does take about 24 hours to thaw out, but I take it out for the day, then wrap a paper towel around it to absorb the moisture on outside abnd put it in the refrigerator. Prayers to find answers at the doctor when you go.
Is there a secret to not changing the taste of it? I’ve tried freezing it and it changes the taste ,to me .

Did you have them check the carotid arteries. My friend had the right one cleaned out about 6 months ago and just this past week she had the left one done. She will have scars on the side of her neck. But her primary always said all looks good. She finally asked and insisted that the check. Well 75 and 90 percent blockages. The heart specialist was so angry. Pray for recovery from this second surgery.

It's been nice here in Eastern, NC...I did a lot of yard clean-up, and look forward to a couple more hours this week. All the Spring flowers are popping up! I have a mountain of leaves, sticks, and pine straw by the road to be picked up! Love it all!

When two people are married, and they invest in a home, isn't it both of yours. I mean, just like you're able to have your things the way you want, isn't she able to have her way also. I take care of strength for cats. I have over 20 years. I beat them. I have them in the winter. I find forever homes for them. I get medical attention for them and they will eat. Whatever is there, so your best bet would be to first of all for the cats safety feed your kitties at night time that will encourage them to come home at a certain time and keep the garage door. Keep them in for the night and that way feral cats won’t get out their food and feed the feral cats at a different location at a different time they will learn which time you’re feeding. Just an idea God bless thank you so much for sharing the life with us love and prayers to all for all at the farm

Ralph and LeeAnn our grandson is lactose intolerant so we buy lactose free milk. The shelf life is twice as long as the whole milk. It does taste different but you get use to it fairly quickly. You might check it out. It does cost a bit more but our whole family hasn't had as much stomach trouble since we started using it. Thank You for sharing your life with us.
