Hi All, Just a quick update of my ownership experience in the first 10,000 miles with the car. It has been nothing but amazing. Except a few rattles :p
Wow. It’s a small world. I remember watching your videos religiously when I had a MK7 Gti. And now I got this video recommended to me. Immediately from the thumbnail I recognized that you live in the same complex I do. Mind blowing now because I remember seeing your mustang bullitt in the parking garage and I’d always think that your fitment was so good. Funny now that you moved onto BMW and so have I. You will probably notice a very heavily modified BMW in that same garage. Well anyways, I don’t want to be a creep or anything but just thought your MK7 videos were awesome and keep doing what you do 🤙🏻
Thank you for the kind words! I miss the GTI from time to time. The channel hasn’t been the same since I stopped making GTI content. It’s a nice apt complex but I left in around June. Was yours the blue m3?
Yea eventually I will get a catted downpipe. I think that will make the car sound just right but first I want to get chassis bracing, better wheel tire combo and lower it an inch.
You can bring your car to the dealer for every rattle it’s covered under the factory warranty. I have a G20 that’s plagued by awful sunroof rattles. 6 attempts in they couldn’t fix mine and under lemon law you can get a cash settlement or even a buy back. In the mean time they fixed up a dozen other interior rattles my car had. BMW mastered their drivetrains but fit and finish is still pretty bad.
@@LifeofPandK that's very valid. They actually destroyed my seat memory button while addressing my ambient light rattle. Of course they rectified that and all was well, but there were so many rattles and it took too many attempts so a lemon law attorney was actually able to get me some money from BMW for the trouble. If my car were newer I may have even been offered a buy back!

I think I may have a simple solution to the noise. I have to test it first but I believe it may work :).
I own the same exact car. The only thing I wish the bubbles were louder or I can tune without unlocking DME. Will you be doing any modifications?

Yeah seems to be common. However I may say that it has started to go away now. I rarely hear it.
Just hit 10k in my 2023 x3m40i as well. I have no issues yet. How are you liking that MST intake? Thinking about getting one. Thanks.
I love it. I think it’s the best option so far. Maybe aFe might make something batter soon but the MST is perfect for me.

I am just afraid that when they try to fix one thing. They destroy 5 other tabs.

Anyone who shows them drag racing their SUV should have rattles. Maybe the problem is the way you drive.
