so that amp is no good with an upgraded alt? I had one before and immediately after installing it blew. I have a 250 amp alt with an xs d3400

Yo its straight ya heard me ,mine must of been defective i got with some one that stands by the salt line seen his in action no problems so i guess its a roll of the dice kinda thing

I run my Salt 200.4 at 14.3 amps and it has never gone into protect. You may need to get that checked out homeboy.

@@SKentertainment504 people run these at 15+ volts. If you had issues, then you did something wrong.

Mine play @16v tops but I mainly keep it around 15.4
