Hey Derrick ,I just purchase an Infiniti Q50S and I would like to have an all SUNDOWN system. (Excluding the Dash speakers) is there anyway you can find out what speakers you have that will fit and can replace my NON Bose system speakers in the doors. I just need to know what highs and Mid speakers will fit the doors basically. I was told most Audio Companies have all that info. (If you have time of course) I would really appreciate it. I have the Sundown SIA-2500 Amp and I also have the Sundown 10"in X v3 Series D2 Sub Banging Package one the way for the trunk. I was looking at the NeoPro ....Just need the green light for fitment and I would also like to know what Battery you recommend . I'm driving over 60 miles a day and need some good clean sounding music. Thanks Brotha
@@BassheadAudio it's a headunit case/radio box (Google) used to keep everything nicely organized, to control the radio from outside of the vehicle for competition. Loudaf has several different styles.
I have a salt12 took me forever to save to purchase. So I'm going to be running 2 zv618s. Also only concerned about spl. What enclosure airspace are you running for each of those in truck? What is that a 4th? Basic space for sealed and port pretty pretty please? Lol
It's your basic huge 4th order. Large open side, small sealed section, high tuning, big power to the subs. All you have to do is make your shell first. Make it as big as you can. Then figure out what you can have for a sealed section for the subs you are using. If you have a lot of power to work with, use the subs minimal airspace or even lower. If you have lower power to use, use a larger sealed section. That's it.
Oh I didn't see you had a salt 12 and the two zv6s lol. My bad. Use the minimal space those subs call for for sealed Enclosures, because that's what you are going to use for your sealed section. Then obviously double that by two, because you have two subs. And voila, that's your sealed section size. Then, like I said make the shell as big as possible. If you are only concerned with SPL, then your unsealed section of the enclosure should be roughly 4-6x larger. Depending. So if you're still section is 10 cubes total, then you should have at least a 40 cube unsealed section. When all that is said and done. You will need to make a port wall right behind your front seats, and that will determine a portion of your enclosures bandwidth capabilities. Being that you are going very wide ratio because of SPL, you will have somewhat of a short bandwidth. But that's okay since you're going for SPL.

So odd that your under the name Orion because Orion is close to my heart. I'm am old 90s Basshead so worked my summers for two Orion xtr 15s on an Orion 250hcca. I had been saving and looking for my dream Amp the Orion Dsplx17k but, couldn't find one in mint shape I was looking for. So for the first time ever went Sundown. I had 2 Orion Dsplx 3000.ks was running them at 16v @.5 and on smd dyno they rms 7400+ out of each Amp! Those triple inputs let you know that "3k" is a bad mother fucker. Lol but anyway the salt line actually impressed me getting 20k plus possibly put the salt 12. So I figured may as well. Besides it's so hard to get Orion shit repaired being the company filed bankruptcy and still not back on tract yet. I hope they recover one day because I would most likely go back Orion. Unless this salt amps impress me like the dsplx Orion line of amps did.
So basically if the salt amps are like the dsplx then I will stay Sundown is suppose. Never dreamed I would be saying that after so many years running Orion hccaa. Had the 8k hcca v. 2 as well.

Alpine halo 9 headunit, SPL Labs bass meter. I'm getting 146 dB, and my box (birch) flexes like crazy... will literally jump before I had it strapped down. SUNDOWN AUDIO all the way!!!
Tbh in the field on the pro level 163 is typical. all the money designing tuning and everyone for the most part ends up in the same ranges lol, well the pros do that is. 160-165 lol. you can actually clear 165 with ease on a single sub with a 1000 watt amp or less.
Salt amps are easily 1 of the best quality built and powerful amps on the market. I have a salt 200.2 on 2 sundown neopro 6.5" midrange and they sound amazing. I also have 2 sundown GT-R1 Super tweets on the salt 200.2 and they sound amazing. I also just got a salt 3k and haven't even pushed it yet but I got me a zv5 18" waiting to hook it up in a custom 9cu box. But the SQ and power from these salt amps are insane.

I just sold my salt4 and picked up the salt8. Checked my trunk and the lid hinge is broken! LOL. Anyway… when it comes to multi channel amplifiers, I want class AB. I’m an audiophile too and yes you can hear the difference in class ab and class d when it comes to multiple channel amps.

Thanks for the answer. I didn't get a Amp yet. Im looking for the right one. I got 3 Sa 8 v3 (2ohm) I buyed 2 Sa in a 40hz tuned box. 1 is new unopend. He sayed it's wired to 1 ohm. The Problem is I don't get the subs out of the unless i had to cut the box. I would prefer getting a mono Amp. 4ohm ~750wrms (for a single Box) 2ohm 1500wrms 1ohm 2000wrms This would be the ampstates im looking for.
@@Turtle2117x if there 3 its probably wired to 1.3 ohms but if u wire it all in parallel it would be 0.3 ohms, if its completely in series would be 12 ohms but it would be kinda dumb to put it there. But for it to be close to 1 ohm, it would have to be in series-parallel which would end up being 1.3 ohms
@@Turtle2117x Also i would recommend getting D4S Jp23 for your amp, CT Sounds Ct2000.1D is also a option, or Skar Rp2000.1d. I wouldn't go with taramps unless your not going to change your wiring because with most brazilian or chinese amps aren't capable of going under 1 ohm but if you wanna save some get a Taramps bass 3k or bigger if your really wanna but just get the bass-line of there amps. Me personally for what im trying to I would go Korean board (the first 3 are) because I'm safe to drop it to 0.5 ohms without blowing anything, not saying I'm not but there over built. But for your set up I would do Jp23 or the taramps

Both numbers it will handle but to wire at 1 ohm u going to need a D1 or D4
But other then that u can only get 2 or 0.5 ohm final impedance but if u tell me ur amp then i can tell u
