Edison, Franklin, Ford, Jobs, Musk, Tesla, Salk, - buncha morons, amirite? And putting 12 men on the moon- well I play Kerbal Space Program, it's not even hard!

      Nathan i think the difference is that a comedy central wanted to give him that huge amount of money in exchange to owning him, controlling him and completely owning the rights to artistry and intellectual property. I’m not privy to his Netflix deal but I’m sure does things on his own terms.

      While I'm sure he was taught a lot I think it's more than that. I think he's just a thinker which is evident by the way he makes his own rules and people follow him regardless. He's basically an inspiration to a lot of people. They see him and hope to make themselves as free as he lives. Free from influence, your own master of destiny.

      @@shelleygreyrealtor And I love your comment because it is so true. So correct. Id like to think Id still walk away if it jeopardized meaningful connection. I'd go back to the stone age, as long as I was able to connect with those around me. If I had to dehumanize in order to create revenue, well money would be toilet paper... I think that's what Dave is getting at. Only connections with meaning buy true happiness. Loving you, and loving people, and loving this whole ball of crazy, that's what matters.
      PS this was after serving in Afghanistan. I just want to love and feel love. I think that was what drove these people. Robin Williams, Richard Prior, and our boy Dave here. They all hint at person connection means far more than the gold standard...Or the petrol dollar....

And I really commend him because making the choice to stay true to his beliefs when he was offered millions and fame, is really hard to do. I hope that I would be so strong...but then again, lol.

      It will be happiness eventually when all the costs goes up. Since trump, we will be paying all the tariff and the wall built before we continueu to make progress.
      Today 160k seems alot but its not if you are living in California/New York and now other city/states. To live "happy" meaning to go anywhere and spending without going in debt. It is rare even making 200k isn't a whole lot anymore. 1 Million means nothing today like it did like 30 years ago.

      Salt was the currency,at least partially,like it still is in the middle age in my country.
      That's why it's called salary,it's not the amount of money alloted to buy salt,it was provided as currency under the form of salt.
      Cheaper to pay in nature,wich is salt than in money,for all organisations wich buy large quantities to provide their members.

    Dave was right to walk away I'm in the music industry and I've seen it time and time again An artist makes an album it does well the label throws all this money at them and they're now under control and nowhere near as good as that first record Luther is a good example Those early records are masterpieces but after awhile you hear him gradually start to sound more pop sounding and less depth of feeling in the songs and production It got so bad that they started putting autotune on his vocal If there is any singer that doesn't need autotune is Luther So very smart Dave
