      Thanks so much Joie, we really appreciate that. We discussed DAT in the jaundice videos (part 3 and part 4 will be most helpful to you). If you didn't find the information you wanted , come back and let us know where we need to fill in the gaps. Thanks so much!!!

    What does Acantheocytes found in a 4 month old baby's blood signify? The baby has low hemoglobin, but otherwise healthy, gaining weight and isn't pale. Could this be benign?

    • @TalaTalksNICU
      @TalaTalksNICU  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello- acanthocytosis can mean many different things. A low number could be normal- as they get higher it may signify rare liver diseases or blood type anomalies. Follow with your pediatrician!!

    Is there a quick sheet or ti by with nórmal values for lab for example Hgb, hct, creatinin and such

    • @TalaTalksNICU
      @TalaTalksNICU  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hct has such varied acceptable levels depending on the clinical status of the baby- but we do need a cheat sheet for the other labs! Arianna and I will look into it!
