You are a good teacher! Can I request neonatal hypogylcemia pleaseee.. Thank you for doing all these! This channel is by far the most reliable and viewer friendly channel that discuss neonatology in TH-cam.
Thank you your for your very kind words! Hypoglycemia is an excellent topic and soooo important for all babies! Give us a couple of weeks! Thanks again!
Thanks so much Joie, we really appreciate that. We discussed DAT in the jaundice videos (part 3 and part 4 will be most helpful to you). If you didn't find the information you wanted , come back and let us know where we need to fill in the gaps. Thanks so much!!!
Wow- JH- you went back in time-so glad you still found it helpful and you learnt anything from it. We are loving your encouraging, supportive comments :)
What does Acantheocytes found in a 4 month old baby's blood signify? The baby has low hemoglobin, but otherwise healthy, gaining weight and isn't pale. Could this be benign?
Hello- acanthocytosis can mean many different things. A low number could be normal- as they get higher it may signify rare liver diseases or blood type anomalies. Follow with your pediatrician!!
Hct has such varied acceptable levels depending on the clinical status of the baby- but we do need a cheat sheet for the other labs! Arianna and I will look into it!

Thank you so much Brandie! We're so happy that they are serving some need! ha! It's a lot of lonely work by ourselves!!!
