I personally enjoyed your little rant about why you gravitate toward this style of simpler makeup. I feel like there are some people who view makeup as an opportunity to express creativity and artistry, and there are others who view makeup as a way to enhance their natural features. There is space for both styles and I think we need that balance in the beauty community. I switch back and forth depending on the year (and sometimes depending on the day...), so 🤷🏽♀️

I have always found your makeup style to be refreshing. Its nice to see looks that look good in person and not just on camera.
Your simple makeup aesthetic is one of the main reasons why I’ve been following. I would imagine that most of your followers are following you for the same reason.
What drew me to your channel is because of the simplicity of your videos, your clothing choices, and the way you do your make-up. I feel like because you have a minimalistic lifestyle, you're a very relatable influencer. Most influencers tend to have unrealistic lifestyles. I really appreciate you making content on what you feel most comfortable doing.

Edit: Don't feel pressured to try new makeup looks if you're not comfortable. I watch you precisely because of how wearable the looks you do are. That's who I am and I don't feel that I can connect to other creators who do more "out there" looks because I can't pull that off.

I watch you specifically because you’re so down to earth, natural, comfortable - thus relatable, which shows in your looks as well. I mean I would love to see you wear pink lip more often just because it looks so good on you, but the OG golden queen looks are what we’re used to and what we love about you - being comfortable and glorious in your own skin! ❤️
Regarding ideas for videos, (i also commented on your photo on ig today), 1. There can never be too many natural/healthy/glowy/sunny looking makeup tutorials, 2. Clothing videos of you pieces that have stood the test of time/pieces that were worth the money. 3. Capsule wardrobe video. 4. Chatty GRWM are always nice. 5. Videos of the planning of the wedding/wedding related events/dress ideas/ wedding and marriage thoughts (if you plan on sharing this aspect of your life)
When you were “babbling” 😜 on about what kind of makeup you like wearing is so spot on! This is why I come to your channel every time you upload! It’s realistic makeup I can do day to day and wear to work if I want but dont need to spend an hour and a half getting ready in the morning! Love your channel, keep doing what your doing ☺️

Okay but you just articulated something I have been trying to for months now. This past year has forced me to know myself better than I ever have! My taste is crystal clear to me now, more so than ever before. I know what I like and I don't doubt it anymore. Whether it is home decor or beauty--I'm not tempted by things outside of what I like. I can appreciate them, but I don't feel the need to buy something because it is new and trendy when I know it's not "me". My husband and I bought a house last year and the interior is coming together so slowly but as it starts to take form, I'm thinking to myself "wow, this looks like me".
Type “beauty spatula” into Amazon/google and you can use it to get product out of the bottom of makeup/skincare packaging so it doesn’t go to waste! 😊
My favourite type of vid! Can we see a vid on health stuff! From exercise to food, do you have “rules” you go by to stay on track? If you feel like you don’t want to work out, do you force yourself? What sort of workouts do you do? How do you manage cravings? How do you go back on track after being off track for a while? What does Dan do in terms of workout? Well I can think of plenty of questions haha

Never change your style! I think it’s been 3 whole years since I started watching your videos and what I love is that you always create wearable looks! The glam makeups are fun to watch on Instagram for sure but it’s just not my style. I much prefer everyday makeups and I was constantly typing “everyday makeup” or “natural makeup” and I found your channel. Been watching all of your vids ever since! I LOVE the natural and consistent makeup looks. I love to know your staples and what’s really worth it for us. Here and there definitely is fun to switch it up but I would say I rely more on your consistency then I do on your crazy fun looks!

I love your videos so much, especially at the moment (lockdown in the UK) and I find your vlogs so calming amongst the chaos. And as for what you were saying about wearable everyday makeup, I completely agree. Through lockdown I realised that my 5-10 minute makeup routine was what made me happy, and the simple everyday makeup was all I needed. We could watch your "simple" makeup looks forever because you do them so flawlessly!

The BEST cool tone brown eyeliner is actually the urban decay brow flick (in the second to darkest color I think)!!! So easy to apply as eyeliner

I am here for the wearable looks. I do like some schimmer on the eyes sometimes though. Love Dior Meteore, bought by your recommendations. My kind of wearable look is a monochromatic one, blush on cheeks, eyes and if liquid/cream, on lips too. The nap was so relatable, this lockdown lifestyle makes me sleepy as hell.

I think I really like the videos of you branching out on different makeup looks because as you said, in terms of your makeup preference you’re basically the everyday consumer, so your approach to more trendy/colorful/graphic looks are much more approachable and easy to follow! And even when you think you don’t like how it looks (like in that video you did with Jamie Paige trying to replicate who was it, Selena Gomez? Hailey Bieber?), I actually liked your end result more than the original makeup you were trying to replicate! Just wanted to say this because I think we’re all so hard on ourselves but chances are if you hate your look, I (and many of us) love it 😂🤍

I enjoy watching Jeffree Star or people that do crazy colorful looks every once and a while but after each of those video I think fun but I'd never wear that.
