I've rewatched the intro so many times now. It's a masterpiece. The ramping up of the music when it cuts to his garage door revealing his license plate, the vocals starting as he flips the handrail, and then hearing him shout "WOOO" after landing the flip sets up the perfect level of stoke for the edit. It's all so fluid and beautifully edited. Props to Ryan and especially Nickeh for that.
This is why Ryan is the best scooter rider of all time not only the tricks he does but also the dedication he has to the sport as well as his versatility Kota may be able to do kickless and bris Jordan Clark may be able to do a ton of flips but neither of them can ride street nearly as well as he can he can also add steez into tricks which is not something many park riders can do and he could do tricks that both of them can do so long as he sets his mind to it
Watched this when it first came out, and I’m watching it now. Almost made me cry knowing in these couple of years, the kids I used to ride with grew up, and we all moved on. I recently got back into riding, and i hope to be as good as I used to be. 21 isn’t too old to ride still, right?

I think people forget that Ryan competed at the 2016 Worlds in Barcelona but did not qualify for the finals, yes nobody in this world would even attempt the tricks in this video, but being good at throwing down bangers over a mega ramp compared to holding down a insane consistent run under pressure is a completely different thing I'm not taking anything away from Ryan but you can't say he is best in the world
That's a good point. I see Ryan as a more Evel Knievel type of athlete, as he does things only a few people on this planet would ever try like you said. That's very different to someone who can hold a consistent run, so they are very different in a sense. I much prefer what Ryan does compared to the riders who do better in the world championships, as the tricks he does nearly cause your heart to come up into your mouth.
