I remember Tana's stray dogs very well. I think that's why so many locals call it Antaybe. But the streets do look cleaner than they did in 2016 when I was there. How much would an Air Mad or Tsaradia flight from Tana to Nosy Be cost, and how much is the taxi brousse trip?
The taxi bus costs $20 and a flight costs $200 I would take the flight every time as the road is a killer it's not only dangerous but it can take 3 days of bouncing around on the bad road.
@@passivenomads Yep, I'd pay the 160 quid to fly every time. 16 quid for the taxi brousse and then the cost of flying to South Africa for the back surgery I'd need to have after the 3 day taxi brousse ride makes flying more economical 😆

Yes I totally agree with you on the capital of Antananarivo, it's not a place to live and make a living in the long term
