How long does one of those propane bottles last and how long does it work after it’s fully charged?
About 6 hours
I don't understand why they would put a battery in it that only lasts 5 or 6 hours, why would you want the heater to run out of battery at 3am??
I bought one only lasted under and hour biggest waste of money ever. Buy a diesel heater it will run for days.
Is this unit still available for sale? None of the usual popular physical and online retailers to have it in stock. One retailer even informs me that they've been notified it's been discountinued late last year. Is this true? Yet when I checked today, the product is still listed in your official website. Please advise.

Why does the pilot flame on my new one light, but the main burner does not? The air flow from the fan is pathetic, I hope it improves when the main burner lights. I've used both the small screw-on cylinders and a 9 kg bottle (which I tested on a gas stove and it worked fine). What gives?

@@GasmateAustralia Thanks Mate! The air temperature increased a bit, and it is now working as advertised. So no further action required. Bit of a bummer that it doesn't work when its needed most (ie when its bloody freezing!) but better than nothing. Will keep a gas cylinder in a warm spot in future, to get it going. Thanks again.
The main problems I see is that the unit & propane source are left out in the cold. If it gets very cold the battery performance will be greatly reduced & the propane bottles could freeze up or have reduced pressure. I could be wrong but this heater seems to be designed to be used in temperatures well above freezing.
If only there was a heat source to keep the battery warm...oh wait...there is!
Can you just keep the unit in the tent and swap the duct to the air inlet so that goes to the outside instead. Easy to leave a stub on the blown end to override safety mechanism. The only issue is loss of space then. Thats how i thought they would work before I saw this..
I hate these videos with stupid kickstarter music. Just show us the damn product.
So you have to go outside in the cold/rain to turn it on/off! This is as pointless as putting the oxygen sensor on a unit that is outside anyway. Ducting isn't insulated so efficiency is going to be terrible as well. About the only thing the makers of this product did right was realising there is nothing else to compete against it on the market.
Oh oh have to go outside, then stay in and freeze and enjoy the condensation dripping on your face as you try to sleep. Geeze, what whinny comments.
