I think it’s sad that the few that like to cause problems makes the whole batch look awful. I’m not one of that “group”. So for me in short people can buy what they want but I do get both sides. I also am involved heavily with a doll company where the dolls are made from ground on up. So from clay mold to wax mold to the first prototype. I’d be hurt if and it already has happened because another company seen the faces and the paint and has now copied parts of the paint. I know there’s never going to be a complete stop on copying. We just have to get used to it. The one thing that can put the Kabash on it is bring the factories back to the United States 🇺🇸 that will help sooooo immensely. I get why some buy the cheaper dolls, for instance sold out edition or an older one that can’t be found, or it’s a time of desperation need because of a tragic event in the family or life. As I said it does hurt when things are copied but I also get why people buy the cheaper ones. I told this in a video, I’m not on any side. I am on the side of these are just dolls, soooo many bigger things are extremely more important. We have wars, famine, sickness, and the flow of necessities is at a crawl. Let’s focus on that instead of hurting each other over dolls. Yes I get both sides, but I’m more worried about life and how the government is screwing up and how we have killings and other sad crimes. Please 🙏 I pray 🙏 that the fighting stops.
You said it best, artists are going to protect their work & buyers are going to buy what they want. Period, point, blank. I don't know how ANY side could get mad at that lol. But I always enjoy hearing your opinions & seeing your sweet babies and all the cool stuff you have! I've always felt a bit weird about my role-playing electronics. Like, I have little chairs that have vibration settings. I barely ever use it, but I keep batteries in them anyways.
