You must of filmed on a Sunday. Most people in Perth are allergic to making money on a Sunday . A few people I know in w.a were stressed with the high rent so they protested by not paying. So far it’s working out for them because the court is full
Ivan, Susan. Love your videos absolutely superb. I was wondering with all your experience of wandering around different suburbs north and south of river which would you say was the nicest suburb for young families looking for space, good schools, parks and facilities. Would be interesting to hear your top pick/picks 👍
It depends on your budget and if you want to be near the beach or are happy with a country feel. There are a lot of suburbs both north & south in Perth that are good for young families. It is hard to pick the top suburbs as it is very much an individual choice. It will also depend on whether or not you want to be close or far from family.
You have to remember that perth is a mining town, at any given time possibly a 1/3 of the population are in the mining towns. You want to talk to people then go to T2 airport from mon to sat.
Sad time for many trying to get a rentals, Government could consider housing rentals more than 1 leval...plenty of land about in outer suburbs-train line out to Yanchep.
Yes - the government could be doing more. Especially as so much of the state housing is empty as the government isn't repairing the houses to get them livable again.
We filmed this on Sunday at lunchtime. We thought there would be more people there as well. We generally film on a Saturday or Sunday around lunchtime.
@@DestoFlix pretty amazing how a city of 2.3M people can seem so sparse? Based on what I'm seeing even 10M people would make zero difference and all Oz is just 27M
@@vloggersontheloose and yet the is a housing issue, clearly the housing crisis is engineered by politicians and their rich friends while the immigrants and average Aussies are fighting over it
Nice view and filming .looks fresh after your holiday.❤
Thanks 😎

We did film on a Sunday and not all shops or restaurants do open then.

Yes - Perth also doesn't have the high population of other capital cities.

have never ever seen Perth streets so deserted, this is worse than during Lockdowns
What's happened to that joint??
I think maybe they record on slow or least active days, I noticed most videos they hardly run into anyone

Perth is a widely spread out city. We don't have a lot of high density areas apart from the city.
