It’s not easy being a first time mom champion needs me 24/7 that’s why am being slow on editing yet my family here i don’t take the love and support for granted that’s why I kept up even at the hardest point to update you as you know I share my life experience as a Ugandan married and living in China you the best family from far I can’t trade for anything, champion is blessed to online moms, dads, uncles, aunts, grandparents I know we shall groom our baby so well.

I notice you don't need to have special car seats for babies. In the United States, you can not take baby home unless you put baby in car seat until they are 7yrs of ager or more.

You look very tired and pale. You should take a good rest at least for a month and leave most things to ur mom in law in this recovery period . Don’t feel bad. Follow strictly the confinement routine and eat healthily and drink plenty of warm unsweetened boiled red dates water with goji Berry and dried longan ( instead of water) that could replenish the blood. If possible extend complete rest to two months other than breast feeding your baby and do light exercise . New born baby sleeps a lot now and you should sleep and rest when baby sleeps , as baby will soon wake up more as he grows up and you will have lesser time to rest later . So do it now while you can. Enjoy and appreciate baby long sleeping time now 🌸 Fast forward info: Later when baby starts to wake up in the night and sleeps in the day . What I did was to keep the nights very quiet with very dim lights , not talking to the baby but cradle the baby rocking gently or just walk quietly to and fro , up and down and rocking it until the baby falls back to sleep. I had a big leaning flexi arm chair from IKEA ( POANG) comes with leg rest where I would put my baby on my chest and rock gently to get baby doze off in the dark after some walking. During day time, even when baby is sleeping do allow some background sounds like talking and walking in and out sounds, soft music etc and when baby is awake, talk to the baby . After few days , the baby would recognize and differentiate day and night routines. Lastly learn also to breastfeed the child in side sleeping position “side to side” by placing a firm long bolster where baby can lean slightly on his side supported by the bolster while sucking your nipple at the side. Practice makes perfect and you can soon breastfeed the baby while “ sleeping”. As a mother , always sleep with a conscious mind that you have a baby by your side. Give more space for you and your baby . You will soon learn to relax and enjoy breastfeeding in various position and get your needed sleep as well while your baby suckles .
We totally understand my dear, please enjoy your baby and motherhood and don't forget to rest as well. We miss you though but we understand, congratulations once again ❤❤❤
