Timo for the win!
His blade is awesome!
Who won? Us, the viewers of such an awesome channel and the knife making community. Fantastic work both of you!
these are the comments that make all this work spending on these videos worth it.
thanks man
Great challenge! and very impressive results after 4 houres of hard work!:)I like Martin's blade and shape of Timo's handle:)
Thansk!!
Timo for the win. I've just bought his knife! You got this!
awesome!!
@@MartinHuber_Knives buzzing!
Martin's handle on Timo's blade would have been a killer combo. I love leaving the forge scale on the blade so I don't know if I can really pick just one so, I'll say they're both epic and call it a draw.
yes that would be a damn nice combo 😍😍😍
Both fantastic knives, brilliant video with a super fun challenge thank you both for all the hard work and entertainment. For me I have to give it to Timo
Thanks!! :)
Martin, cause I loooove high layer claddings
wohoo!
New challenge idea: can you make an entire knife by the time johannes finishes handsanding a blade!
Well, now that i think about it, it wouldn't be a challenge, so: how many knifes can martin make in the time johannes needs to handsand one blade.
Probably all of them...
i'd say i could do 2-3 knives 🤔
Timo ofc!!!!
🙌🏻
Well done you blokes. Very entertaining and nice knives in four hours.
thanks Bruce!!
I have to admit I like both knives very much. But the one from Martin just looks a little bit better in my opinion. So its Martin for me. But both are very nice and I really liked the little competition you both had! Great to watch! ❤
Thank you! :)
Fuck yeah! that was great to watch.....soo much tension the whole time - got me really riveted!
cool vid boizzzzzzz 😍
thanks boii 😘
Amazing job from both. Martin definitely had the home advantage but Timo gave him a run for his money for sure! 4 hours to make a total complete knife is crazy 😂
little dude was fast AF
i sure wont have it that easy in any other shop
@MartinHuber_Knives 🤣 that's the power of youth hahah.... but yeah man given it's not his shop, he did some experimental (and failed) raindrop stuff and had some bad luck with a crack and delamination.... not bad at all 😊
How about a level playing field for the next challange: only handtools. No grinder, no powerhammer, no gas forge 😋😋😋
Great work both of you! I wish you were closer I'd take you up in the challenge!
haha 😄🙌🏻
This video should go viral, loved it!
Timo made one of my best knives he's a legend.
Best part of the video was seeing Martin eating from his forging gloves lmao
Dirty Skittles are my favourte 🤣🤣🤣
yeah i own one of his aswell, pretty nice shit 🥰
Gotta get your daily iron intake somehow!
And this is how Austrian Forged in Fire was born…. Awesome!
😄😄😄🤟🏻
Nice video, great challenge, superb people (except for Martin 🐒). Mad respect pulling that off in 4h!
F you and thanks ❤️
Looks like you guys had a blast! Nice one!
it was so damn stressfull but SO MUCH FUN at the same time!!
Such a great video. Pressure makes everything better. You guys made a couple of great looking knives. I would be happy to have either or both!
I'm for both!!
what a great challenge, enjoyed that. both beautiful pieces, hard ta pick a winner, but gotta go with Timo for the win. 👏
🙌🏻😄
👏👏👏🤜🤛Two winners
thanks 😄🤟🏻🙌🏻
Howzit guys!
I'm a bladesmith from South Africa and know what you guys just went through in 4 hours.... It's crazy!
Anyways, my vote goes to Timo.
Only because I'm not the biggest fan of damascus and he's knife hits a different type of balance with me! Absolutely dig that knife brother!
But then again, the artistry in both knives (time given) is exceptional.
Try getting Alex Steele on a challenge or Will Stelter....
Well done to the both of you.... PEACE ✌
thanks!!
i mean, i wouldnt mind Will or Alec in this :D
Martin. But both look very nice
🙌🏻😄
Great job to you both! Martin won, but Timo did a great job and it was close but Martin your Execution and Complexity take the win in my book!
thanks Logan!
For me its a win to Martin. The blade looks soo nice and more fancy 🥰 but i really do like the handle shape of Timo. Good Job both of you.
I really like this Martin VS video, exactly what the channel needs to grow💪🏻
Smashed the like button so hard.
Cheers and love ❤️ yannick
Thanks broski ❤️🙌🏻
@@MartinHuber_Knives youre welcome broski 🙌🏻
Crazy guys - love this shit ;D
🥰😘😘
I'm going to give it to Martin. But only because he had home field advantage...In my humble opinion (both of them turned out good for the time restrictions given). As far as who next...maybe Tobias but make it a weekend challenge and add a small mean dog in the shop while you work. 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah the advantage of my own shop is big.
MEAN LITTLE DOG WOULD BE HILLARIOUS 🤣🤣🤣
@@MartinHuber_Knives Yes, I'm sorry but that would be super funny....and you asked so...🤣
@@DONJUILIO perfect idea!
👉Timo, definitely. Hand sanding 🤓
eeeeewwww handsanding 🤮
haha danke :D
Congratulations. Two winners!!!!!
haha 🙌🏻
With not being in his own shop I guess Timo did extremely well. I'm a huge fan of his work. Handsanding usually takes me at least 4-8 hours so doing a knife in that time is still mind blowing to me. Awesome blades from both contestants. I have to give it to Timo. I like his handle style more and the san mai came out great!
4-8 hours for handsanding? 😳
you need to change something cause it takes us maybe 10-20 minutes 😄
Timo did great!
@@MartinHuber_Knives I'm sanding an S grind now and I'm 4 hours in still about 2 hours to go... going to 1500 before etching
@@vandelftcrafts2958 Well an S-Grind is a different story 🤣
Vom ausschauen gefällt mir Timon's Messer mehr . Von der investierten Arbeit und den Details bist du Wonneproppen vorne. Also das könnt ihr nur durch einen Härtetest entscheiden.
Faire Antwort ;)
Were you holding hands when you chose the music?
same music i use everytime 🤷🏼♂️
You can't just tease us by asking who won without showing us how they both cut!
NERD!! 🤣🤣😘
Haha - its mainly a "Who made the cooler knife" competition - sure they both cut nicely 😏
Wie lang is denn schon die Liste derer, die bei "Huber versus X" antreten wollen? 🚀
ne hand voll ;)
@@MartinHuber_Knives richtig gut Martin, dann gehts weida. Freu mich drauf ❤️🔥
The ones that buy them knives will be the real winners. This is why Forged in Fire dont invite people like this to the show. Their 4hr knives are probably better then most competitors 1 month knives.
hahaha 😄
Th the previous first comment spoiled the whole thing😭😭
whaaat? 😳
@@MartinHuber_Knivesnever mind I misread a comment 😅
