@MuddyTDi ANTS can be powered by whatever energy source is available on the farm. There is an electric motor in each of the wheels which can get its from different sources like batteries, fuels cells, turbine generators or combustion engines.

@scud830 It looks like a pretty good engineering improvement on an old design to me.
The independent suspension on each wheel allowing it to traverse inclined planes as well as rough terrain looked interesting. The ability to raise and lower the tractor is to give a better view point but still allow it to move in confined spaces.
The moving cabin looks like it wouldn't hold up in the real world too well though.

looks cool, and it could work by itself but physics are gonna be a problem with any attachment on the front. on the back, it would be find but on the front, the cab is in front of the front wheels

This is awesome.
This is impressive because we have the technology to make this, but the question is, WHY would we want this? Doesn't seem very necessary. It also doesn't seem to add any new convenience on top of the technology that we already have. It's just more complication. The only useful feature is the turning. If the ANT is too tall to go through a door so it has to lower itself, why not just make it short in the first place. The adjustable attachment that goes around the pole is cool too.
What's next? Fricking laser beams attached to it ? Lol
