- ok, i finally finished something. i feel physically and mentally exhausted, but I finished something. the amount of incomplete project files i have is getting out of hand, but i finished something. hopefully i'll get back into the swing of things now.
and yes, i prefer Okina's first theme over the other one. is that an unpopular opinion, idk

I say take a break, no need to stress yourself over incomplete projects, finish projects on your own time when you achieve a spark of inspiration and motivation. Yes, I know it will take longer to complete things but, that's your unique writing style to create music, and set by a pace that won't drive you insane. After all, never rush an artist.

Not only an underrated song, but an underrated character from an underrated game. HSiFS is one of of favorite Touhou games and Okina is my second favorite character.

Okina is also one of my favorites, though some characters can be a close second to her she's still one of my favorites, and not to mention all her stage and boss themes sound epic af, sad to see such a good character get so little recognition, well I guess she really is *hidden* after all.
Okina and Aunn are the only ones keeping HSiFS afloat

There are a lot more remixes/arrangements of her first theme compared to her second. So you aren't alone.

Okina is one of these final bosses that stay in your head after beating them, either because of the music, their attacks, their characterisation,...And Okina, for me, has all of them. And her final boss' theme is brutal, mystic and epic. And your work is such a nice piece of art. I'm enjoying the music as I write this, and I'll just say that it's incredible. Good work, I'll keep watching/listening to your covers ;D.

I can relate on the incomplete projects completely, I have a lot of stuff at either around 20% or 80% completion with only a few inbetween. My ADD probably doesn't help either but just remember to have fun doing it.

Hah, what a coincidence that this comes out as I'm nearing the end of a big Touhou medley orchestration of my own for which The Concealed Four Seasons is to be the capstone.
This is, of course, an awesome interpretation as always! (And I too prefer The Concealed Four Seasons to Secret God Matata ~ Hidden Star in All Seasons.)
It's probably your best one so far tbh! Also, while you may not know it, thank you for providing inspiration for my own stuff! I've been working on making original boss themes and what not and got stuck on a few of them, so it really helps to listen to stuff like this!

I prefer Okina's second theme but the first one is still a top tier final boss theme. Sick remix.
I want you to know that everytime you upload I get hyped as fuck; your shit is genuinely game OST material. To be fair, yeah, they're arranges of what is already BGM in games, but I have never seen such a small channel that puts out genuinely well mixed arranges. Maybe it's because you use FL Studio and the others use god knows what but even big arrangers like FalKKone (no hate against them!) sound like garbage compared to what you put out.
I listened to some of the metal arranges of COOL&CREATE, some of which are now in Touhou LostWord, and honestly, even those sound kinda ass, and they're fucking _COOL&CREATE_ . You know, just the ones that made the infamous Night of Nights. Not even mentioning the "arrangers" that change the soundfont into something abysmal sounding and call it a day. Always hurts me a little inside when the comments on your videos look the same as the ones of really bad arranges. There's some actual composition in your work and I really appreciate that.
Also yeah wtf Concealed Four Seasons is a million times better than Hidden Star in All Seasons, by far my least favourite EX Boss theme

Falkkone's issues are the shitty guitar sounds he uses, as well as habits to do blast beats that make most of his covers sound exactly the same.
What soundfonts/plugin do you use for orchestral and symphonic metal stuff? Recently I've been trying to make stuff like this too but it sounds crap with the current stuff I have.
eastwest libraries for orchestral stuff, shreddage libraries for metal stuff

I know this is unrelated to the video but I have a touhou theory I want to spread around my theory is that gensokyo will be destroyed from the barrier getting destroyed we already know that the barrier can be destroyed if it is hit with enough spiritual power we also know that people can train to increase their spiritual power so all someone would have to do is just get strong enough either by training or getting enough powerful magical artifacts and then break the barrier they can train for as long as they want because they can become a hermit so they could live forever and therefore train forever and then become so ridiculously strong that no one could stop them from breaking the barrier I also think that in touhou if you're stronger than someone you probably can resist there abilities for example the strongest character in touhou is hecatia and her only ability is to have three bodies while on the other hand characters like yukari has the much more powerful boundary manipulation ability but she would still lose to hecatia because hecatia is stronger than her so using that same principle hypothetically a human could become strong enough to destroyed the barrier and resist anyone who opposes them abilities even if the event of a normal human getting that strong is unlikely given enough time it will happen because that's his how statistics work as long as there's a non-zero possibility for something happening given an infinite period of time it will happen so yeah that's my theory and if you find it interesting I'd like you to spread it around but make sure the credit me okay
