I worked as a paramedic for nearly 40 years. Some idiots would drive through accident scenes, nearly hitting us, then abuse emergency services for blocking the road
@@GeorgeMutton-lm1hr Hi George, I've got 27 years up so far as a paramedic. I can totally relate to your comment I've ever had one guy drive into the back of our ambulance at walking speed while rubbernecking, and had a towie decide that he was going to move our ambulance because it was blocking traffic!
Thank you guys for everything you do to community. There are no words to describe how much i respect you and doing wonderful caring job. Unfortunately you find 1% idiots who wants to fight, assualt paramedics God knows for what reason...neither you handing out fines, arresting but helping people in every way possible.
@andjelkojovanovic2852 Very kind words. Unfortunately that's the world we live in. Thankfully emergency services staff get training on dealing with such individuals. Sometimes you don't question people's decisions to be violent, just do everything possible to ensure yourself and colleagues don't have their safety and well-being compromised.
When I heard that line, I immediately had a flashback to a cartoon I saw in Hustler or Penthouse, like 40 years ago: two people are walking past a closed hotel room door (with a transom), thru which they hear the words, "Suck, Cindy, suck; blow is only an expression." Still cracks me up.
It is good to see cops acting like cops again. As an ex paramedic I would say some people should never be given a licence to drive. It is regarded as a right instead of a privilege. 'Temporary visitors' & new arrivals are often the worst offenders & the excuse is 'I didn't know'. Isn't that what a driving test is for, to make very sure you do know? It can confuse the commuters when you are just standing there and not giving instructions to incoming vehicle whether to stop or go through.
